Best tech platform
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has changed the way we work and file our regulatory reports. It has made our job easier and with more control. The tool was very friendly in the implementation phase, we had no problems by adopting it. We had the best experience with the customer support, they have been extremely helpful when we had problems with the use of the platform. We use Workiva, at least in the legal department, once a year during the first quarter of the year, time when we have to file our regulatory reports to the SEC and Mexican National Banking and Securities Commision. Last, but no least, the integration to our processes and the adoption of the platform among the teams, has been very organic.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I have not found anything I dislike about Workiva, on the contrary I'm eager to keep using and getting to know better how to exploit all the funcionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traceability of the information, it improved the control that we have over the collection of data and information
Changing how we manage our sustainability data!
What do you like best about the product?
The structured space of Workiva helped us a lot in having a friendly option for all our data owners within the organization and help us transition to just one space for having all sustainability data that we can manage for external reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not developed for us to use, like the edit option when sending to review or having other colors for the input cells mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a just one space to manage all sustainability data, we have reduced over 50% the time for having all data we need for ESG reporting.

I can always call and talk to representative live when I have questions

Sometimes the customer service representatives change too often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None.

What do you like best about the product?
I use the SEC reporting module and like how all the data is linked. I have confidence that my figures will be consistent across documents and within a document.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have also recently implemented the SOX module. We have found many surprised and things that don't work as we expected, or as it worked in our previous tool. We find the tool is not as flexible as we expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use workiva to document our 52-109 internal control audits. I also use it for MDA and FS reporting on a quarterly basis.

What do you like best about the product?
the tool itself is very easy to go through
What do you dislike about the product?
there are some customizations needed to reduce time and improve efficiencies. The tool is great for financial and sample based audits but not as much for operational or project manangement audits (1 sample - many attributes) We would like the testing matrix to be more dinamic to adjust to types of audits

We are getting benefits by using dashboards

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration with teammates and colleagues that are in various locations. Ability to tailor the document exactly how you want. Connection to various data sets that allow for data analysis and analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ability to review and make edits in the review instances. This would increase the ability for executive level review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generation of financial statements and consistency across global platform. Benefits me from not having to handhold the various professionals using it across the globe.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was a TOTAL improvement and complete over haul over our previous financial reporting tool. The differences and improvements can not be calculated.

What do you like best about the product?
The spreadsheets and being able to link to different documents is probably the best part of workiva. Chains are also my favorite!

Not being able to source links from the document.

What do you like best about the product?
UI is simple and easy to use. It is intuiative and straightforward.

Nothing! The tool just works. Its actually works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our fin reporting environment is complext with significant volumn. The tool scales well as we increase complexity and size.
Infancy stage of design and interaction thus far has been wonderful.

Workiva actively listens to our business case and attempts to find suitable solution

Would love to have user groups for each workstation.
