I like the intuitive nature of the system

it is a bit clunky and doesn't seem to integrate as well with all modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data management and becoming a source of truth for our ESG data. This will soon save time and money over time once we finish implementing the system and better understand how to use it.

Chart functionality can be improved to mirror PowerPoint.

Source system data is limited and we rely on Excel for alot of processes. Workiva helps verfiy that everyone uses the right data across reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Linking data to the 10Q and 10K with minimal effort. Our CSM is quick and informative whenever issues are present. UI is easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Spreadsheets do not utilize all formulas similar to Excel.

Workiva is solving how to file financial reports easily with the SEC.

Great tool but needs improvement in the details
What do you like best about the product?
Specifically related to the financial reporting side, I like how collaborative the tool is. I appreciate the ability to link across filings and validate data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the overall tool is great but the details are still in progress. For example, I am very excited about the calendar tool coming out. But I was disappointed to hear that I wouldn’t be able to create tasks and have those appear in the calendar format. Another example is around comments. I don’t want everyone to see every single comment. I would appreciate if I could layer/categorize comments so only some groups could view.

Lots of features to make the reporting process easier and more efficient.

Need to have a GAAP checklist feature included

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to navigate and link data. Pretty user friendly for people you need to respond. Great customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be cumbersome to find things and drill down into data. Also text fields can be annoying (e.g., unlike Word, it is hard to leave a comment on precise text and you can easily override text without the ability to "undo"). I also feel like you really have to rely on Workiva or partner vendors to really make things happen in the tool.
