Significantly enhances productivity through automatization of several tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
The automatization process of the uploading of the information created through the help of KPMG consultants has significantly improved our team productivity, allowing us to not hire 3 or 4 people more to do the exact same amount of work we are performing with that tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software does not allow to work using OneDrive files to upload information. In the end, is what Workiva is about, to be able to work with several users at the same time using the same file. Shame it is not possible in your own computer. The result is that you end up having to copy the master excel file to upload data between you and your colleagues, creating different versions. Additionally, this sometimes has created IT issues, not letting to upload information in different attempts (had to close excel and reopen every time I had to upload any change to Workiva).
Plus, commercial efforts are sometimes a little bit disturbing, trying to sell you Workiva products very insistently, even though the company made clear that several of the offered products were not needed at that moment.

Great platform to help streamline processes
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link information throughout a document or presentation to ensure consistency and accuracy throughout your files.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if Workiva offered more formating options for documents and presentations to closer mirror Microsoft office products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track changes easily as well as avoid version control issues.
Workiva - Great Platform for SEC Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best part of Workiva is how user-friendly the platform truly is. The linking capabilities between documents allows for a very easy and efficient way to get files ready for SEC filing. The customer service reps are also extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not witnessed much downside since starting to use the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As compared to other platforms used for SEC filings, I think Workiva has an advantage due to the linking capabilities across multiple filings which I did not see in other platforms I've used.
Workiva is a user friendly financial reporting software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create, edit and export documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting after download. Tables don't appear the same after downloading into the document. Sometimes, it slows down for a while before it comes back running.

Formatting issues and also certification. I use certification a lot and making it more efficient is really helpful.

The fact that multiple solutions are available helps consolidate reporting and utilize similar data across those solutions in the different reports.

Some of the functionality isn't as refined as we like it to be.

"Replace All" option is not available. Dummy portal for XBRL testing is not available.

What do you like best about the product?
The solution is exactly programmed and personalised for our circumstances, plugging into our CRM and adapting information exactly as required - but on a large scale with automation that is flexible, as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much - there is a large investment up front if you want to get the most out of it, in terms of planning and also interacting with the implementation team and correcting issues as they arise. In our case the automation for transfer pricing documentation is deep, reusing master narrative with adaptations, pulling financials and headcounts on an automated basis - in future to adapt these fields a relatively good understanding of the underling technology is very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time spent per TP documentation report, also maintaining consistency, and in future it will allow a single functional narrative update as opposed to iterative updates based on needs.
