Reliable and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The interface and finding the solutions needed are very fell defined to learn and use on your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much that I dislike. I used to have a lot of issues filing but that was when NextGen was rolled out. It has since improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Filing errors and warnings have become more streamlined over time as the Next Gen documents has matured. I used to run into technical difficulties that required me to reach out, not any more
I like it.

it is very easy friendly to use the SEC Reporting filings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is not easy to find the topic in the help center.

- Automating and connecting different business processes together
user friendly reporting platform, that has created many efficiencies for our team
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has made our workpapers automated which has created many time-savings for our team during a busy period
What do you dislike about the product?
The latency that we experience during quarter end, and that it sometimes does not load

Workiva is helping create more connections such as with Gsheet API - and making our automation even better
Workiva is an excellent ESG Tool
What do you like best about the product?
How user friendly it is. The system mimics other frequently used tools such as microsoft office.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions give a lot of trouble. We always have to reset them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is currently working on permissions for us.

Electronic SOX workpaper tool. Review process is electronic.

It is difficult to view large documents in one screen.

Workiva is great
What do you like best about the product?
Greatly simplifies financial reporting and external disclosures. Creating a "single source of truth" eases reviews and reduces time spent validating inputs and shifts into more analysis and value add.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features can be a bit clunky, the formatting options are not super great, and can be quite finnicky to get working right. Also a lot of the options are in different places than in word / excel which can be confusing for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying inputs for external reporting. Single source of truth brings higher internal consistency to the disclosures and allows us to spend more time on analysis and documentation rather than data input and validation.
Helpful and Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
The sales staff were quite helpful in helping us identify what we needed, and how we could customize and shape our platform for our organization's specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The developers were helpful in helping us customize our platform to be useful for our needs, however it would have been more helpful if Workiva was willing to do more uploads of our data into our database, as we determined the data was ready.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a platform to help us track our system of quality control and help us record processes and controls, test them, and be able to share this information internally.
Amazing collaboration tool and love the ability to do multiple data connections and tracking

Collaboration, tagging users, audit trail.

Chains is tough to document and understand.

Ability to collaborate between many different stakeholders + refresh ERP data as needed
Workiva for SEC Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Direct access to reporting to the SEC. Ability to collaborate within the tool (tracked changes, send for review, comments). Also the ability to link #'s and words
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many separate "solutions" that essentially do the same thing. I couldn't believe looking at the marketing materials there are 15!
