Great Informative Sessions
What do you like best about the product?
I love the data automation and the ability to interconnect with other systems
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a fairly new user with Workiva and have not dislikes of the solution at this time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva has allowed for easy use of the templates to current monthly and annual financial statements
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
What I most like about Workiva is that it's really intuitive and really easy to use. There's a litte bit of learning curve but it's an amazing software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I really like it all. I really love all the features and continued improvements to make the work easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The saving part it's huge for me, I don't need to remember to safe the work because the saving it's done automatically.
Workiva is one of the best tools I have ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I use it mainly for SOX. I like the way we can drag and drop attributes, attach documents, open in local sync files etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is not user friendly at a first glance. You need to use it for a few times to start liking it

Having to maintain the support in multiple folders, tracking the progress, review status etc.

There isn't anything that I have noticed this far that I don't like.

This is my first time here so this is all a new experience for me.
Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love the state of the art automation capabilities in Workiva. Also, love the training videos posted on Workiva Training center. No competitor came close to Workiva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. Everything looks good to me. All of our user community likes Workiva functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is used for SEC 10K / 10Q reporting. Workiva with WData helps resolve lot of problems. Makes processes efficient and reliable. Chains helps automate manual processes.
Long-term User
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva makes collaboration between many departments possible. Not only that, but the ability to manage the entire workflow process through different functionalities makes the workstreams easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it can be slow. Ever since workiva was updated there seems to be more rendering errors in a document for example. Performance is the biggest issue most of the times but other than that, it runs fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining specific workflows and processes. Whether that is for SEC filings or utilizing the technology in other ways. We are able to be more nimble, agile, and productive with much lower headcounts.
Incredibly Fast and Simple to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is amazing- this has greatly simplififed reporting for us and eliminated a great deal of stress. It makes sure that no numbers will appear one way in one section and another way in a different section and makes controlling access to each segment much simpler than when we all worked in one Word document and had to take turns editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva does not enable Pivot tables, so some support Excel files may need to be rebuilt once, but that's a one-time task to save a lot of time going forward. I have heard that Wdata includes Pivot tables, but as my company does not use Wdata, I cannot verify.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva streamlines our SEC reporting and allows us to work simultaneously in a document with security configurations customized to each user. It has greatly decreased the complexity of our task and increased our peace of mind about consistency and accuracy of data.

I like that it is a one stop shop for all GRC needs

The UI and UX is not that friendly and harder to use

I like the ability to link documents to each other, perform data checks, and send questionnaires

It's a little confusing from a user experience, and the ramp for a new user is high

It lags when using the single source and i hope it gets updated
