Workiva is getting better and better
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the documents and spreadsheets functions mirror excel pretty closely. Also like the comments, blacklines, and ability to collaborate with others internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of back of house coding that needs to be done by solutions support people, it is easy to break a lot of the formulas created for our ESG workspace (factbook). Not sure why we have to have a new year factbook instead of one factbook that you add years to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working collaboratively with others, data collection and metadata that supports the collection, data approvals, report collaboration. Reduce the need for back and forth in emails because we can use comments, tasks, and reviews

What do you like best about the product?
It helps to keep our data all in one spot and helps us tremendously with our repor design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its more complicated to use, especially when setting up new year data in ESG platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single source of record for data and disclosure reporting
Workiva is excellent
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to get in touch with members of workiva when you run into issues. I have had many filing day calls with Workiva and they always help me out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have anything negative to say about workiva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva provides xbrl tagging services as well as support when we run into issues with the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
linking capabilities within worksheets and the staff assistance on XBRL tagging
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the worksheets had a bit more functionalities, closer to excel. copy/paste can also get tricky too depending on if your linking or not

they are always updating the taxonomy - they were proactive in assisting with a streamline project
Workiva ESG Platform Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The Workiva ESG platform is easy to use; we have received great customer service from Carrie throughout our time thus far from getting us set up, to checking in throughout the year end process, to following up with us to help get things initiated for next year I can't say enough good things about her; easy to upload attachments for backup support and great for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would really like to see similar charts to excel as some of the more advanced features are missing, formatting in the platform on inport and export is a bit wonky and finicky and we would like to be able to freeze user permisssions and access to closed out documents for audit retention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing an audit trail, creating user review and approval process in the platform and allowing for easy collaboration and tracked changes
SOX support
What do you like best about the product?
easy to implement and fast to set up with good immediate usage and results. I find the tool helps to elevate the user's ability to support SOX comliance. great tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I am still learning about the tool and it's use. My clients seems to really like it but sometimes takes them getting over the idea of paying for a SOX tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the SOX environment, including RCM, narratives and flowcharts, testing templates and PBC requests/testing. Helps to drive results and efficiencies in my clients process.
Best platform ever
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is very user friendly tool that keeps getting better. We are able to use the tool for our financial reporting and investor relation needs, and we continue to explore other tools within our workspace to make our work more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Workiva at a few employers now, and haven't really had any issues or dislike with the platform. The only con is keeping up with all the improvements.

At the present moment, we are connecting teams and aligning information among all reports.

-Venue and Events are impressive

-It was difficult to find the conference center, directions could be improved.

What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is nice for a project management tool to house our documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process was horrible and it has started our usage of the tool on a wrong path. I'm hoping to get more knowledge from Amplify.
