Good collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva works great for collaborative efforts across the company. It's nice to have multiple users editing a file but still maintaining the single source of truth spreadsheet file for only certain editors.
What do you dislike about the product?
New features are not being rolled out for the SEC solution as consistently as they are for other solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration while maintaining secure permissions.

My thoughts on Workiva.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Workiva is the staff I've worked with, especially my CSM. They are always there and as helpful as can be.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing about workiva is the companies communication in regards to upgrades, improvements, and downtime. The header is on the website is NOT enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Certifications! Such a vast improvement!
Functional and Modern
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva us consistently on the forefront of technology and enhancements. It is extremely user friendly and had substantially contributed to growth in our organizations SOX and Controls area
What do you dislike about the product?
Recent updates have introduced situations of instability. In the normal course of business this is expected however when these occur they do cause some functional delays in us performing our job responsibilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva has seamlessly fit in within our controls, internal audit, and monthly/quarterly filing process as well as XBRL tagging. It has connected these areas and made it much easier to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
Workflows are helpful to maintain good approvals. Having a single data record for elements keeps version history.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed and responsiveness of the platform is often underwhelming. Product support teams are helpful, but solutions are sometimes limited.

Administering quarterly certifications, housing the SOX program, facilitating internal audit testing
A True Partner
What do you like best about the product?
The parntership from Workiva to truly understand our business has been remarkable. They know that our success is their success!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find a downside, but they have so much functionality that I am a little anxious we aren't utilizing it all just yet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are making our management of metrics easier and more streamlined with the ability to track necessary controls!

First Time ESG Report User
What do you like best about the product?
- Connector to Workday to pull raw data.
- Customized data import reports allowing both the importing of the final metric values as well as the build/calculations of metric value to live in Workiva and only having to import the raw data.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Another system to learn.
- The ESG Program, Factbook and Report chapters/sections don't automatically update/align when changes are made making it difficult to know where everything is mapping.

Workiva has great products for your reporting needs
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has a very user friendly experience. It is very easy to pickup and has amazing features for our SEC reporting needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had the capability of finding user groups that are assigned to certain spreadsheet/documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is allowing integration with all of our reporting needs to provide a one-stop shop.
Great for Financial Statements Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Its financial reporting capabilities and ability to link numbers for internal consistency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formatting of the financial statement document can be challenging with paragraphs and tables cutting off or being inconsistent and it takes some manual manipulation to perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the need for a consistent and user friendly financial statement reporting platform.
