Workiva is very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is incredibly user friendly. We transitioned to Workiva in the current year and it has been a very seamless transition. Switching from excel to word is quick and easy and managing comments is so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to manage comments left for other people and be able to filter others comments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is making SEC reporting much more efficient and easier to manage. From rolling the document to managing comments, flushing through number changes etc has become so much quicker.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interconnectivity between the spreadsheets and my word document so that I am quickly able to publish links and it will immediately update all the relavant sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Given that it is a web interface, the inability to use it offline, such as on a flight. However, I understand the significance of the cloud interface so while it is a feature i would like to have, it's not necessarily a dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the ease of financial reporting.
A Dream come True!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of collaboration with others, and how simple it is to manage preparation of a document. They have taken all the nightmares out of version control, editing and communication and simplified it. It's a software that is a dream come true.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a struggle as executives hesitate to get involved, but they usually love the system once we finally get them in it! The other downside I can think of is if internet is not working, you are not able to work in the software. I love the software and am always trying to find new ways to incorporate it into different areas of our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps solve version control not only among edits within the documents, but also comments and communication drafts among executives and external auditors. The History also helps to research problems that occur when changes are made without appropriate approval.

Easy to use, and its Excel and word-like features that can be linked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all Excel and Word features are available. Sometimes, the response time is slow and it can get glitchy.

Workiva is timely to respond to requests and has provided overall good support

The product team has worked diligently to overcome the product constraints.

Their product has some constraints, and is not the most user friendly.

Audit software and centralized audit database.
Controls Module - Just what we were looking for
What do you like best about the product?
The Controls module is just what we were looking for. It is extremeley customizable and reporting is unmatched. We also had a great experience with the implementation team. They were incredibly helpful and insightful. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a SOX Compliance Tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing major that I do not like about Workiva. There are some slight inconveniences that I have noticed - such as certain files do not preview well in the Testing Markup Viewer, but this is so minor and does not sway how much I like the product.

Our primary reason for searching for a new SOX Compliance Tool was due to reporting.

What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback I've encountered with data prep in Workiva is the limited availability of comprehensive learning resources. While the platform is robust, finding detailed guides or tutorials can be challenging. This lack of extensive learning materials might make it slightly more time-consuming for users to grasp advanced features or optimize their data preparation workflows effectively.

Workiva addresses several critical challenges, and the benefits it provides are substantial: Streamlining Collaboration, Enhancing Compliance, Efficient Data Management, Time and Cost Savings and Improved Visibility and Reporting
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Great platform for documentation and sharing financial data with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The menu and format panels currently don't allow sliding to left and right. Also prefer to be able to slide vertically with smaller increment if so desired.
