What do you like best about the product?
Our company was using another email gateway product, which was a gateway before o365 gateway. We replaced it with Avanan, this comes after o365 gateway, the type of results were noticeable and outstanding. Difference can be noticed. Security team and administration work has really reduced. They know the difference between spam and phishing

Avanan cloud email security has resulted in all the problems of viruses, malware, phishing, spearpshing, malicious links, rare attachments, etc.

I recommend Avanana cloud security, it is the best email protection system, thanks to Avanan cloud security we solve problems with malicious emails. its implementation, its administration and its way of working have been 100% positive.

Why we love Avanan
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard makes my daily life much easier and the Anti phishing has cut down drastically on my daily routine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't ran into anything that has made me dislike the service yet. We've been using it in production for 3 months at time of this review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
anti phishing and impersonation were a big issue we were fighting that Avanan has helped with. It has mitigated the daily quarantining of emails that I was manually doing.
Simple and Effective Email Security Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Avanan was quick and easy to get up and running. We mainly purchased their service to block all the phishing attacks that Microsoft EOP misses. They catch/block 95-99% of what Microsoft EOP misses!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had an issue with the Microsoft Blocked Senders list working for end-users since implementing Avanan. We are working with Avanan/Microsoft support to see if we can get this resolved, but no resolution yet. Their Anomalies section leaves a bit to be desired. I wish it had more information on the alerts. I also hoped they would block more SPAM/Marketing emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They catch/block 95-99% of what Microsoft EOP misses! Their Incident Response service is quick to respond to suspicious emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend doing a demo with Avanan to see if it meets your needs. They do inline protection, where others offer APIs to protect your mail. We also liked Abnormal Security a lot.

Excellent email scanner for a resonable price
What do you like best about the product?
Adds an extra layer of protection on top of bare Gmail.

The setup wasn't without hiccups, but the technical team was able to assist us with all the issues.

Anti Spam and security Solution on Gateway level
What do you like best about the product?
This Check Point Anti-Spam & Email Security provide protection against several ways such as detect spam based on content, sender, black listed IPs, Black listed regions etc.. Overall it is very good solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is good software blade and working fine for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have in house SMTP server for our application alert or OTP, we have SMTP with anti spam but it is not much good. so we have procured Check Point Anti-Spam and Email security blade license and configured it. now it is blocking all kind of spam mail and secure our emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to block such email attack on gateway level, you have to enable Anti-Spam and Email Security blade on your check point gateway. it is very helpful.
Easy and Reliable G Suite Filtering Service
What do you like best about the product?
The initial sales team was helpful in describing and demoing the product for me. The pricing is reasonable and the setup within our G Suite environment was simple and straightforward. After a few basic settings were in place we started to see a decrease in spam and phishing hitting our users inboxes. We have now been using the platform for over two years without noticeable downtime or any other major issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have experienced is some vendors aren't following proper email/web security guidelines and as such legitimate communications are sometimes blocked even though it's a well known domain, company, etc. However, I cannot really blame Avanan directly for this because they are merely taking a 'better safe than sorry' approach and there are ways of manually adjusting and allowing these kinds of communications if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The standard G Suite spam/phishing filter is decent but doesn't catch everything. Between Avanan and G Suite we see almost no incidents of malicious emails making its way into our users inboxes. Additionally, with Avanan's quarantine and live scanning of attachments we are able to better review potentially malicious file much more safely than before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a fairly priced and effective solution to protecting cloud-based email and document services, Avanan is a no-brainer.

What do you like best about the product?
The way it is able to detect and block malicious emails. Also personally I am fascinated when our current cloud solution is not able to detect malicious emails but when they pass through the Avanan filter they are detected immediately. And also the opposite when our cloud mail solution detects the mail as malicious and it turns out that it is a false positive that in effect Avanan does not detect it either. With this we see the great efficiency of Avanan.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I have not found something that I do not like about the platform. The only drawback if you can say so. There was a time when I opened a support ticket for a specific purpose and the support gave me a different solution and not the one I was looking for.

Last year we acquired this solution to be able to combat phishing emails to our organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice to other people who are evaluating their possible Cloud Email Security solutions is to evaluate as much as possible from each provider. Analyze from the smallest detail that sellers offer. Request a demo of the product to evaluate how functional it is for your organization. If possible, enter into a good negotiation if there are other sellers competing on value for money.
