What do you like best about the product?
Esper handled our business tablet lockouts to make them unusable for anything but our app. This was seamless and we saw a significant reduction in broken/missing tablets after inplementing this.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the setup was a one time thing I haven't had any issues working with esper. They handled the task we needed and we haven't needed anything further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device management in the form of control locks and permissions.

Simple scaling for digital signage

What do you like best about the product?
Platform ease of use and onboarding devicees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hidden fees and not transparent pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to monitor our digital signage devices and address any issues that arise. We had our own MDM solution but Esper's more robust features gives us more peace of mind.

What do you like best about the product?
It has been great using the platform to manage over 700 devices. It has been a game changer in our operations monitoring device use in some of the most remote areas in Nepal and Uganda. It is very easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, there is a disconnect between the application usage information and the core system. it would be great to have a unified platform where you can access the device info and the data platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to make sure we know that devices are online and community has access to them. Seeing how often the devices are online aids us in designing our program implementation better and tailor our offering for the community

Esper delivers a great experience

What do you like best about the product?
We were evaluating several device management systems for growing business need. Among the final candidates, Esper beat all others in every single aspect in which we evaluated and were interested in. Apart from that, the platform is able to deliver the functionality providing a smooth and straightforward experience.

The setup process was reliably easy and migrating from the trial to the full product was very smooth.

There are two aspects that I'd like to highlight of the product's UX:

The Esper console is very intuitive and straight-forward. This is much appreciated and something we don't take for granted, as many of the alternatives that we tried were seriously playing on another level in this regard.

The Esper provisioning process is as stream-lined as it can be. This is critical, especially for large fleets of devices. Operative costs are greatly optimized when having as little set-up and maintenance as possible as Esper is able to deliver.

I'd strongly recommend Esper for use cases where you want to maintain a fleet of devices, either for internal or external use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Esper provides a SDK API, which is interesting and appreciated. I'd welcome some of this functionality to be developed into the standard, SDK-less functionality that is able to be delivered with just configuration in the Esper console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage our fleet of loaner phones using Esper. It resolves the management and tech administrative aspects of this feel of phones, while letting us concentrate on delivering a solution for our customers

Easy to start
Friendly and nice UX

Cumbersome (but tolerable) blueprints
Streaming from the devices is not always reliable
Debugging and collecting logs could be better
Sometimes device activation just doesn't work

Having ownership on the mobile devices in the field, and making sure updates are rolled out

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to bring all the phones in and set them up in the span of an afternoon.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes falls short in the ability to accomplish certain tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can remotely track each device and easily see who is assigned. It has been instrumental in keeping track of the devices.

Billing is not accurate. System does not remove Devices very easily.

Easy installation and the baility to restore the devices in 2 step process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing and removing devices are always an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved the removal process but I still seethe 2 scanners in my device history.

What do you like best about the product?
It was helpful in controlling many android OS phones. Great Geofencing features

Company didn't acknowldege our agreement for a one-year deal, and kept sending invoices.
