Great experience during Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
My experience with my Implementation Manager Logan couldn't be better. He was readily available whenever I needed help and offered super useful tips and guidance throughout the process. Having this kind of dedicated support made the transition to Skilljar easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating courses is easy but getting the website to look the way you want less so. At the end of the day, it's not a complete content CMS. You'll be fine as long as you have the ability to code or have resources to help you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Educating our customers, partners, employees.
Thoroughly enjoyed working with the SKillJar implementation team, the platform is straightforward.
What do you like best about the product?
Kerynn was amazing to work with! Our team working on the Partner Academy is very small. Kerynn was very insightful throughout the onboarding process. She answered our team's questions on the call, pointed out areas we should focus on, and always provided great assurance to our team during the building phase. The platform itself is straightforward to pick up on, and the engagement with our partners is very high. I'm happy to say that we launched on time and are looking forward to seeing what else we're able to build out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find anything to dislike at this point. We were late in discovering all the HTML layouts for customization, but we were too focused on the launch to make any significant improvements. It's definitely opening up new opportunities for us, and we're excited to learn more and collaborate with your post-launch team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are launching the platform initially for our Agency Partners to educate them about our product and help them understand when and how to sell Yotpo product lines as part of their services. Our team is developing a new Managed Service program, and the Academy will play a vital role in certifying and training our MS partners in the future.
Intuitive LMS with fabulous human support!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that how user friendly Skilljar is. It's easy to dive right in and starte creating content for your users. I truly appreciated my Customer Implementation Manager, Hannah A, being a true partner while I was navigating setup and implemntation.
Hannah was a great communicator and was happy to meet me and respect my prefrences (allowed me to screenshare and aske questions over zoom and answered questions in real time and was also happy to provide support over email if requested). She anticiapted needs and was always down to brainstorm and problem solve.

It's saving our team time by providing education resources to our customers
Timesaver for onboardings
What do you like best about the product?
Gainsight CE is mainly used for customer onboarding, and has helped us save time. This enabled our CSMs to take a more strategic approach and share best practices. Courses and learning paths are easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The addition of learners into groups is a bit of a tedious process, which can have ripple effects unto accurate reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our first objective with aquiring Gainsight CE was to shorten the customer onboarding time and guarantee a linear process. We have seen an effective decrease in onboarding weeks, and enable our users to gain product knowledge quicker.
Unmatched customer experience and on-time delivery
What do you like best about the product?
Skilljar has a flexible approach to its use and branding. We created an entire experience for our customer base, not only for education, but that integrates seamlessly into all of our other platforms. While we had a heavy implementation ask, the implementation team guided us every step of the way. Their customer service and communication were instrumental to our tight timeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
The authoring tool doesn't meet our needs; however, I'd be surprised if that's not a localized problem. Fortunately, Articulate integrates well, and we were able to keep our existing content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar is helping us solve our breadth and depth of engagement with our customer-facing resources, including the Academy. We can more easily provide faster time-to-value and reduce education-needed support calls. Internally, we are able to get higher employee participation in our employee certification program and use of our internal-facing resources.
A customizable tool that makes it easy for our customers to get trained
What do you like best about the product?
The leap forward in customer training that Skilljar allowed was customizing the interface for our users. The API connections pull data for each user, so we can send them to the right landing page, and the most appropriate training will be highlighted on those pages. This wasn't possible with our previous system, and our customers are already commenting on this six weeks into our use. The UX is also very intuitive, and the implementation team helped us customize it to exactly how we need it. It gets our customers to the right training faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I would most love to see added to the platform is a role that allows customer admins to assign their teams training without needing to be admins in the full system. That would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar is helping us get the right training to the right people in a more efficient way than we've ever been able to do it before. The catalog pages and learning paths make it very easy for our internal teams and customers to find exactly what they need. The more customers can find the right training, the more they will use MasterControl, and the better our retention rates will be.
Above and Beyond Support and Migration
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup, migration from our old LMS vendor and most importantly, learner experence and outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some customizable reporting features, The ability to mark one or more learners complete in a course in one shot, having more than one "enrollment" form for different audiences instead of having a custom one built that needs to serve all audiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to reach a much larger audience at a much lower cost than we could previously with our previous LMS vendor. By training this extended audience it enables them to be better educated on our platform and therefore recommends our platform to the state, which it turs re-sign another annual contract with our company keeping returning revenue.
Customer Education simplified!
What do you like best about the product?
Gainsight Customer Education is highly user-friendly and intuitive to navigate. I love that I could configure and populate an entire learning management system (LMS) simply by learning by doing. The support team is fantastic and will help you immediately with any questions. The LMS is highly flexible and can be customized to fit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate some more built-in independence when it comes to certain functionalities, such as user management (e.g., license expiry automation) or video captions (e.g., language flexibility and upload).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gainsight Customer Education is a dedicated learning management system (LMS) for customers with integrated analytics and integrations, which helps us focus on the mission at hand: providing a first-in-class customer support experience.
From zero to 100 in next to no time
What do you like best about the product?
Gainsight Customer Education took us from the kernal of idea to a professional academy style training resource in a few short months. Our content creators can easily work up courses and exams without the need for programming skills and code.
What do you dislike about the product?
We come across bugs from time to time, but to Gainsight's credit they have addressed some already. A direct e-commerce facility is a gap, it would be great if they addressed this at some point soon.
