Skilljar made my work life easier!
What do you like best about the product?
Since switching to Skilljar, we have received great feedback about the user experience. The ability to customize each domain's look and feel is excellent. It allows us to give employees, customers and partners a personalized experience based on the business relationship.
Skilljar has made it easier for students to navigate the training offerings and, in turn, has lowered the number of support tickets students open when it comes to navigating, registering and completing training.
Regarding creating and publishing courses, plans and paths are very easy to learn and understand. Having the many setting options allows us to create one course for all domains while still allowing us to have a specific setting for each domain! This is a great time saver for those courses we need to publish in all our domains!
I also LOVE the training credit option! Using the promo codes did not work very smoothly for our business, no fault of Skilljar, so when the training credits went live, it was like angels came from the skies above and blessed me with extra time in my day! This drastically cut down the number of support tickets regarding promo codes not working for their desired courses. These tickets are practically non-existent now!

I have found several pain points with the platform as an administrator.
Reporting
I have found that the lack of customized reporting has been the biggest issue for our Education and Training department. I would like to see the ability to customize my reports with any of the available data in Skilljar. I know this is in the works and should be an option soon.
Student Event Cancellations
In addition, I would love to see an option to opt-in to receiving student event cancellations. Occasionally, a student cancels their live event registration, and I have no idea until after I have invoiced them for the event. Avoiding unnecessary invoices would be fantastic!
Removing Certifications
Finally, we have had some issues with students obtaining certificates of completion they did not earn. I typically need to open a case to have the certificate removed; being able to do this myself would be great.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilljar has allowed us to give our customers a great user experience that they did not have with our previous vendor. One of the most significant issues we had with our last vendor was the code validation which had to be done manually on our end and caused delays with registration confirmations and even with invoicing. This is no longer an issue with our business since Skilljar can quickly validate the promo codes and training credits with automated registration confirmations. Since switching to Skilljar, most of my daily tasks have become more manageable and less stressful!

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Northpass is the overall functionality and navigation of the tool, the simplicity of course creation, and the communication with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are aspects of the tool that could use more development to enhance the overall experience for the teachers on the backside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enhancing the educational experience that we provide to a salesforce of 300 + real estate agents.
Always quick to respond.
What do you like best about the product?
They are always quick to respond and open to feedback. Easy to add and replace SCORM files and assign courses to people and/or groups. I like having control of notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up ILT courses is not as custom as we would like. We would like to be able to attach our own questionare in order to sign up and have the ability to control registrants (add, waitlist, approve, unregister, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have been continually looking at how to improve reports which is very important to us.
A Fantastic LMS with Expert Support
What do you like best about the product?
Northpass is easy to use out of the box. So easy that when we set it up almost two years ago, it was done extremely quickly! After multiple admins added a proliferation of content, it was difficult to find what you needed, and the content was confusing and outdated. The team at Northpass was extremely helpful in supporting our refresh and worked very hard to keep the platform cleaner and the content more discoverable. Working with Nergis and Kaitlyn is a pleasure; they are both extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see Northpass change a couple of things. Firstly, the organization of content around courses. Making adding content outwith a course easier would make the platform more comprehensive and more useable as a knowledge center and an LMS. Also, making the analytics more robust and ensuring statistics and usage rules can be set up to suit specific use cases would make the platform even better. The team at Northpass is working on some of these improvements on their existing road map already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary use for Northpass is to host Client Education. It is a crucial user support system for our clients. We also use the platform to host internal training. As a global company, it is critical that we can share onboarding, compliance and development content with our talent.

What do you like best about the product?
Courtney and Charles have been super helpful with our transition from Coassemble to Northpass! While there are a few features we'd like to see implemented, they've been willing to find workarounds to fit our needs for the time being. The platform is easy to use from both an admin and learner side, and as a company that utilizes Northpass for gig workers, we've seen a decrease in the time it takes for learners to complete their course/onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the future, I'd like to see more interactive options for modules, e.g. drag and drop quizzes, or options to present information in a way that isn't just a video or text. But as a young company, the current course building options are easy to use and definitely cover the basics!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Northpass to onboard gig workers, and our previous LMS was glitchy and frequently had bugs, causing massive delays in the onboarding of our gig workers.
Great supportive team that helps on quick notice
What do you like best about the product?
Nergis and the entire team is super supportive. We had some issues getting onto the platform and getting it live but always appreciate how active and communicative they are to helping us resolve our issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to upload our own templates for classes. In comparison other platforms had templates that could be preloaded in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Northpass is used for onboarding our Helpers and Hands to get them ready for the platform and getting more deliveries. It is a good quality screening tool.
Great, personalized experience
What do you like best about the product?
The team & that for the most part the platform is pretty intuitive for how complex it needs to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficult part for me is the technical understanding of the platform - but I lack knowledge about integrations etc.

Offers High quality content to coaching customers - helps the coaching community grow and helps us share our proprietary content. Helps coaching clients and others with their growth and development.
Northpass is Fantastic!
What do you like best about the product?
Northpass is customizable to your needs and allows users to make it exactly what they need. We've heard many positive comments from our clients about their experience with the platform, and we've been able to provide a fantastic learning opportunity to our users. The service is also fantastic. We've worked with Nergis, and she's been prompt, helpful, and essential to our success with the platform. Additionally, the Support Team is responsive and always there to answer a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customizations in Northpass are fantastic, but the Learning Paths and communication tools are still two spaces where they're growing. I'm excited to see the growth there, and I'm excited to use the improved functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now provide an online, self-guided educational academy for our clients. It's been a dream of ours for a long time, and we were able to make it a reality with Northpass.

What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience thus far - there is nothing I "dislike about Northpass." Roughly two times I misunderstood a particular process - but Northpass was able to provide clarity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an LMS that was more user-friendly than our previous LMS - thus far, Northpass is providing that. Our customers will surely be more happy with a user-friendly LMS for their online certification and coursework.
Northpass Delivers
What do you like best about the product?
The team at Northpass was very responsive to our needs. We presented them with a short time frame to institute our training site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial set up required more modifications than we anticipated. However, they have been agile and catering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous training website was rudimentary and awkward. We now have a central resource and training page that is easily created, updated and managed.
