Good tech with rich observability features
What do you like best about the product?
Data Pipeline Orchestration, Data quality and pipeline monitoring features allow users to track the progress of data pipelines, monitor data quality, and receive alerts or notifications for any issues or failures.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is going to be a bit of learning curve

Exceptional Tool for data monitoring.Easy and extensive interface. A great open source library to track, monitor and automate data quality, devops operations and pipeline health.

Basically, A databand is a observability software for data pipelines, Warehouses and Data Storages. Mostly, I like few below points in databand :
1. It is completely automatic tool/software which collects metadata to gain immediate visibility.

3. It alerts on anomalies and rule breaches.
4. It resolves the error in few time

There are few challenges which I faced while using data observability tools :
1. Some times it provides learning curves which needs time to understand, training and implementation.
2. It is difficult to use databand for complex architectures or data pipelines
3. Processing and monitoring of complex data pipelines can impact the performance of data pipelines.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides automatic data observability and monitoring for data pipelines and warehouses. It helps me in my data warehouse project of previous comapny with easy monitoring of data, pipeline health, track data lineage. The most important part of such tool is data quality assurance. Previously we need to put a amount of time to extract the best quality of data but databand helps us to reduce our time to collect accurate and reliable data. Also, it automatically detects and alert on data quality issue.
So, it helps our team a lot.

- Yet to scale for high throughput ingestion data pipeline
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have ingestion pipelines preparing data to feed our models and as an observability tool, we are using Databand. It helps to automate Root Cause Analysis as well as helps us to filter out bad quality data. Databand being a real-time observability tool helps us to identify problems in our data pipeline ASAP even with the RCA. We are yet not using this toll for data preparation yet, but in future we might think of if the scale fits

What do you like best about the product?
I like it's ability to capture metadata automatically, set historical baselines, and use the alerting system to warn them of irregularities and rule breaches.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about data observability systems like Databand, but for some consumers with limited technical understanding, it can be complex and pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My Organinzation is using this tool for various purposes in data Observability and Transformation Specifically from my perspective by using triggers and alerts the tool assists in observing data flow from source to destination and also offers insights for future decision-making, and warning users of anomalous dataflows.
this usually helps me to build huge datasets and identify the data quality issues.

the various options available in the portal is good for data analyst & engineers to check data quality, monitor pipelines and more operations.

I haven't used it a lot, but I didn't find any dislikes in this product.

I tried to visualize the data but at there I didn't understood the overall view.

Datalineage, observability, alerting and monitoring are the best features. It has ability to connect with various datasources.

Although it has a vast connectivity and robust features, sometimes it feels some features requires more learning curve.
