RHEL is simple but powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ever advancing features that are available. Also, the constant push to improve upon what is there to make it simpler to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't know if I can say there is much about a downside. I wish docker was still native and that I didn't feel forced into using podman. But that is not world ending.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Red Hat Linux is simplifying the process of using pre-vetted packages. Makes applying updates with confidence much smoother.
Very stable OS that will bring your apps up to performance

I am always a CLI guy and love the superfast response it provide almost every time.

I know, we always need, but sometimes patching can be challenging

Security and portability

every time when we do patching with kernal version it require reboot can't we eliminate the maintenance window for patching

normally at the the time of patching window only
RHEL 8 for Apache is complicated when sestatus enforcing is on

Not a complicated maintenance and easy deployments

Virtual memory for JVM allocation is still a challenge, but the latest micro services resolved this

With Red Hat Enterprise Linux I know my systems are going to be stable.

Once setup everything runs with almost no maintenance.

Knowledge base is pretty limited. It's hard to find tips for stuff that you don't know yet

Rock Solid, high performance, great support. You get what you pay for.
What do you like best about the product?
Works straight out of the box. Linux is known to be free with associated pain. RHEL eliminates the pain but comes at a cost.

Expensive. You get what you pay for. Works effortlessly once the licensing and cost aspects are taken out.

RHEL serves as the base OS for our mission critical systems for our internal cloud.
