What do you like best about the product?
The availability of 120 Connectors and the feature to implement REST Services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the product is very good. However, if something has to be enhanced, then it would be XSLT. This feature is newly launched in the latest version, so hopefully it will be enabled with more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migration of an integration application from one vendor product to Mule ESB.

What do you like best about the product?
Mulesoft is a great ESB and for APIs it is just simply awesome. I love using mulesoft and one can achieve whatever one want with mulesoft it is so flexible and easy to use. A great software and for SFDC, NETSuite and any service with REST or SOAP it is just the only thing one can need. and moreover certifications and training and all the material is quite readily available on the web so it is good if one does not have much experience in the field. All the services of mulesoft that I have used it didn't let me down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime ANypoint platform gets hangs stuck or don't respond even if machine has more than recommended configuration. Specially if you application is huge containing a lot of flow. It is based on eclipse IDE so it may or may not be a good thing for everyone but overall Mulesoft is great tool to work on..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting various tool that client uses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well One should analyze the competition but no matter what you want to do. Mulesoft will help you achieve it.

MuleSoft Anypoint Platform-best of breed for API Led Connectivity and Orchestrating your IT platform

  • March 03, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the integration of all the pieces, the fact of using an open standard like RAML to create the API definition and test it, read into Anypoint Studio to create your skeleton project and create the MUnit tests and data for requests/response all from that RAML file. Ease of use and setup was great as well as integration with other tools (SAP, SalesForce, ELK, Splunk, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow on Windows, faster on Mac. The integration with Maven was good but some of the documentation was hard to find to get Maven to do what I needed. Once done though I could duplicate on other projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are connecting a host of legacy systems and replacing a bunch of point-to-point connections with APIs to have a single interface and allow consolidation under the covers after the API system is in place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare all the pieces against SoftwareAG, WSO2, etc. including the API management and proxy before decising what fits your company best.

  • March 01, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Out-of-box connectors for almost every integration pattern
A comprehensive Anypoint platform for managing our APIs
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. But there could be more hands-on coding tutorial videos available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building an e-commerce solution using it (MuleSoft products). The benefit of using Mule was that it has supported almost all the integration patterns and made our job so easy.

Easy to use, quick to learn

What do you like best about the product?
Based on its roots as the Eclipse platform, it has an easy (and familiar) interface for most Java developers. The visual coupling with the coding component allows you to tweak things on the fly without having to fiddle with the visual side, but the visual side allows you to quickly add new components without having to code-dump.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a number of bugs present in the current build. For example one of the current bugs is preventing Dataweave objects from being displayed in the visual component of the IDE, which is frustrating. Some other bugs around Dataweave (which is one of the best selling points about the platform).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are wanting to replace all of our smaller, .NET integrations with the mule platform (plus a .NET web service on one side for the BL, we want to keep mule as an ETL tool...). The biggest benefit is how quickly you can get an integration live, e.g. pop up a quick FTP integration to download a file, takes about 10mins all up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth looking at this tool to replace all your smaller integrations that you end up writing a million small apps for.
