What do you like best about the product?
The connector can be drag and drop, I can see whole modules or services which I connected. I can write by XML configuration too, It's very easy to understand, convert data quickly by dataweave, API spec by RAML.
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance of Anypoint Studio is low. It very slow when I use Dataweave to convert data, even though it's very useful. It rarely runs laggard with my computer ( I5 and 8GB Ram windowns)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connect to others web services easily, convert data between XML and JSON when I use SOAP and RESTful web services. Anypoint studio helps me to do it by Connectors and Dataweave.

  • July 11, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which you can build, mock and test APIs. Also numerous connectors to help your application to speak to different platforms, makes integrating easy. Plus, easy access to numerous documentation and examples online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Debugging can be a pain sometimes, Some integrations tools allow you change values while debugging, this feature is not supported in Anypoint Studio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating various platforms in one application and building APIs to consume them.

The wide array of out-of-box connectors helps us transform data to a format understandable to the different platforms that we integrate with.

We also use Runtime Manager to deploy our applications, this makes it easy for us to share our work with the clients

Anypoint Platform - Enables quick B2B integration

  • July 06, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Along with Mule ESB runtime which has got lot of data transformation capabilities using DataWeave and other transformers and processors available to do all routing, filtering, caching, splitting and aggregation - Anypoint Platform has got the readily available connectors for B2B integrations like AS2 Connector and EDIFACT connector which helps the organisations to implement the integrations in less time. With out these connectors it will take lot of time to do those integrations. In addition to that, they have got excellent support when a license is bought. Excellent transformation capabilities of DataWeave. Scaling to a huge traffic can be done easily by tuning the flow threads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monitoring applications from Runtime Manager does not contain rich features like we had in Mule Management Console. Monitoring and Analysis of logs in cloudhub is tedious compare to on-prem edition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
B2B integrations, Large Volume data processing using batch jobs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it, definitely organisations will get lot of benefit in doing quick integrations

Right balance of simplicity of developing with immense power

  • July 03, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Dataweave , because I am from B2B Integration background where Mapping plays a major role and a most time consuming part of the integration. Dataweave provides a great power and there are endless option to achieve complex requirement easily as well as quickly comparable to traditional mapping utilities. I believe, due to this it is going to takeover as future B2B/EDI Integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anypoint Studio, Though it is more informative,But sometime screen provides so many details which may not need in day to day development. As per my experience 80% of interfaces in an enterprise are simple to Medium complex. If it could have been simplified, then it could have been more better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to see the capability of Mulesoft as an alternate combined single integration platform all type of integration e.g. ESB, ETL, API, EDI etc. Currently enterprises uses separate tools for these from their respective market leaders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anypoint is concentrating both on traditional integration requirements like Mapping and in the mean time it is also up to date with trending technologies like API and Cloud etc. Hence this is going to be a market Hit.
