Great way to design and implement APIs
What do you like best about the product?
The capability to quickly design APIs and the possibility to do that from a web application. The possibility to start implementing an API in anypoint studio by importing a RAML specification defined through the platform. I also like the way it's possible to publish different versions of the APIs and use different branches while developing them. The RAML editor it's very user friendly and it's easy to use. Additionally, it's very easy to deploy applications and manage them directly from the web app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime the UI is confusing, especially when mocking services. I feel that after the recent upgrade of the web application, some feature are not working as good as before. Specifically the RAML editor is now less intuitive and it's sometimes more difficult to identify errors in the code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Anypoint Platform to design APIs and subsequently implement them, in order to integrate two different ticketing systems . It was very easy to write the RAML specification for the System, Process and Experience APIs and then implement them. By defining a RAML specification for the System wrappers, I was able to then create connectors that I could use directly in the process APIs. This way I was able to configure the http calls very quickly since the platform was showing me exactly all the parameters that were needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe it's the best in the business when it comes to easiness and quickness to design and manage APIs.

Large learning curve, backed with tremendous power.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly turn out challenging solutions without needing to write advanced programs to do translations of data. One of the largest gains we have seen with is the out of the box connectors to major platforms such as Salesforce. Not having to understand Salesforce's APIs and simply being able to plug in a connector to do most of the configuration has allowed us to accomplish tasks in much less time than our prior approaches.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation/community available on Runtime 4.0+ could be improved. One of the hardest items to overcome is the community that backs other programming languages (i.e. Stack Overflow). When programming within MuleSoft, there is not much of an active community that can be looked to for answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the largest problems that MuleSoft has solved for the organization is defining a single platform for all API development. Previously within our organization, developers were able to develop in whatever means they preferred. The adoption of MuleSoft has driven our organization to start setting and enforcing standards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to set standards and understand the platform prior to beginning development.
Most Scalable API Lead Connectivity

RAML is the best
What do you like best about the product?
Mulesoft is a complex software system on one side and extraordinary and powerful on the other. And the concept of API led-connectivity facilitates and speeds up the APIs integration and management. I like describe my services through RAML files because they are well structured and documented, and it's simple generating basic flows from them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not simple for the beginners understand API led-connectivity and different types of components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Mulesoft for API management and for connecting several legacy systems to Salesforce.
