Clean and Classic Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Mulesoft Platform because of its simplicity and its easy to use. It provides complete solution to deploy, manage and monitor an application. I can use Runtime Manager to deploy my application and I can use it to monitor as well by accessing logs and dashboard for resource utilization. I can use Api Manager to easily deploy Apis and then manage it by applying out of box policies like security schemes, Rate Limiting or Throtteling and dont forget the proxy and reverse proxy!. Apart from this I also use Exchange to publish all our applications for business users. Best part is Exchange is so interactive that business users can actually use the Apis and check it themselves to understand what to expect from an interface/Api.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the design centre. Its good for Raml designing but its not that useful for building interfaces. Anypoint Studio is the best for it. Apart from this I want Mulesoft to give us more accessibilty and control over the instances where we are deploying applications. I know aws ECS and EC2 services are being used in the backgroud so its good to provide us this access so we can ssh into instance because we often face issues in runtime manager and we have to raise tickets to Mulesoft to resolve them which we can easily resolve if we get instance access. Lastly I think platform should have feature to forward cloudhub logs to other logging tools like splunk, aws s3,sqs or kinesis for log backup and management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have made our ecomm brands on Mulesoft. It helped our brands to grow online and users have better and faster experience now. We have also moved our POS services to Mulesoft for better customer management and transactions management

Mulesoft Anypoint Platform Review
What do you like best about the product?
The platform not only provides a mechanism to design and implement the APIs but also provide end to end API management capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution is expensive and also since the approach is more to build a network of API led connectivity, it requires multi-year visibility. Generally, that is an issue with small or medium enterprises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a Mulesoft partner company and we are helping customers realize the full potential of the Anypoint platform.
Robust Integration Platform
What do you like best about the product?
MuleSoft's integration platform can handle the most complex integration use cases and enables an enterprise to set a solid foundation for a reuseable and service driven architecture. Mulesoft has a wide variety of out-of-the-box connectors for use in connecting the systems. They also provide excellent hands-on training.
What do you dislike about the product?
MuleSoft has a learning curve to become proficient, so get ready to roll-up your sleeves as part of the implementation journey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Mulesoft to integrate data between Salesforce and many other systems on a variety of different platforms.
Amazing Product to connect any systems
What do you like best about the product?
MuleSoft has options to connect different systems and provides out of box connectors with ease to configure properties and rapidly connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often the upgrades to Runtime and product leaves the Munit framework with bugs which kills most of the time of the developers in troubleshooting the cause.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My enterprise is able to create and publish the reusable API;s which can be consumed by other Lines of business.
Powerful full-featured product that is constantly evolving
What do you like best about the product?
Tools for developing APIs are intuitive and many use cases can be satisfied out of the box quickly without programming due to the large library of pre-built connectors. In addition the API led connectivity approach allows us to prototype APIs and garner feedback immediately using the platform which allows us to deliver a solution quickly. There is also good support from the customer success managers and they always work to ensure that any issues or concerns we bring to them are elevated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup of a VPC and dedicated load balancers is not trivial and can be challenging without the assistance of a Mulesoft Architect. Java programming knowledge is required for more complex implementations. Migration from mule 3 to 4 requires rework and migration tool that has been mentioned previously does not yet exist and no time-frame for completion has been given.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating on-premises legacy systems with Salesforce.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
time to market is less as the development effort & time less

It is extrememly easy to understand and use. Anyone with minimal development background can now work with middleware.
All the features around API monitoring and setting up transformations, internal and external integrations are very easy to learn and use. You can spin up a middleware in no time and scale very efficiently.

Mulesoft as API Enabler
What do you like best about the product?
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform offers an API Designer where developpers can easilly define their RAML schema and provide a mock for consumers in just a click on a button. This facilitate a lot // development on producer and consumer
- Exchange offers lot of connectors, samples and extendable custom policies
- Lot of informations about consumers and API themselves right out of the box in Anypoint Platform

What do you dislike about the product?
- Versioning of API Definition files in API Designer is quite poor, basically there is only a main branche with possibility to create others but as far as know, there is no merge option or possibility to get to an older version
- Domains creation (domains allows you to publish several apis on a same port) cannot be done from Anypoint Platform
- Only Organisation Owner of a master organization can see the applications created by others while in most case, this should be delegated to sub organisation owners
- Role Management is still a bit fuzzy
- No Real detailed documentation in the context of the screens where we are

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Centralization of all Reusable APIs
- Set of standard or custom policies (enforcements, security, add/remove attributes to/from header, Request and/or Response loging) . This is quite handly in case we want to expose some legacy APIs or APIs on which we don't have control without individually putting in place some additional applications/lines or code
- Tracking Consumer apps so we can easilly set in place charge back
