Data loader for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
The tool provided by Salesforce helps perform insert, update and delete operations on Salesforce records. It enables you to interact with your data within Salesforce across all objects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires installation.. should be inbuilt into Salesforce org

Mulesoft Anypoint Platform: Benefits and Usage
What do you like best about the product?
Anypoint Platform provides you with a lot of options to deploy your application on cloudhub. The feature which I like a lot about the anypoint platform is Monitoring. We can monitor all our API after enabling it where we can monitor inbound and outbound requests. We can also monitor the heap memory consumption and processing time for each API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anypoint platform has a design center where we can design our API spec. So it doesn't allow multiple users to edit the same API spec at the same time which is sometimes a little disturbing and time-consuming. We have to wait for the other person to complete their changes and then we can start our changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform to deploy our APIs in the cloud hub. We use the design center to write the API spec and publish it to exchange. We use the mocking example to test the APIs in the exchange. We use it for monitoring the API request, response , memory and processing. We also use API Manager to configure the API with the security schemes and applying SLA Rate limiting.
Easy to Integrate and Manage APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Mulesoft Anypoint Platform is one of the best API Solution Platforms. It is very easy to design and implement APIs using Mulesoft. You can integrate your products using connectors in Mulesoft with just 2-3 clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
In design center, we cannot create WSDL files which makes it difficult to design SOAP APIs although, for designing REST APIs Design Center supports both RAML and OAS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We integrate multiple products using Mulesoft and provide customers with easy to use APIs and secure those APIs using API Proxy. Also, we provide them with a Monitoring and logging features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mulesoft has multiple features that will definitely help your business to grow. It provides API Integration, Management, Mapping, Gateway, Monitoring, Security, Analytics, etc. There are so many in build connectors for integration.
Easy to Integrate and manage APIs
What do you like best about the product?
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is most growing API Integration and management platform which is very easy to use and the best part is prebuilt connectors which simplifies the process to integrate tools with Mulesoft
What do you dislike about the product?
Mulesoft is based on API-led connectivity. But in some case where to just need to make one hit to database, you are required to create separate System API. Although in other cases this is the opposite i.e API-led connectivity makes APIs reusable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Mulesoft to integrate multiple tools, manage APIs, provide security, API designing using RAML in the design center, API implementation in Anypoint Studio.

You can choose Mulesoft if you want to manage your APIs or integrate multiple tools and add mapping

This is quite expensive as there is a tool for free offered by Salesforce itself.

Licensing cost has drastically increased, its now comparable to oracle tools

What do you like best about the product?
Out of box connectors provided by Mulesoft allow integration of different systems and technology thus enabling seamless flow of data across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking forward for storing transactions to enable integration with Anypoint Monitoring for resubmission of transactions from point of failure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating legacy and modern applications such as As400 and SAP, Salesforce etc. Mulesoft Anypoint platform allows this communication to happen seamlessly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform will allow you to deploy your integration application on Mule managed Cloudhub. Organizations can easily exchange data between systems on-prem as well as cloud using secure VPN tunnel

Cost for smaller projects implementation or initial cost I feel is high
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Legacy integration and async integration patterns are the most use cases I have implemented, shorter time to market
Feature Packed and Functional
What do you like best about the product?
The Anypoint Platform has many valuable features, such as the design center, exchange, and runtime manager. It is easy to see what is live and roll back deployments as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to manage more than one deployment at a time in the Runtime Manager. Applications must be updated, started, or stopped individually, making upgrades tricky without scripting to use the API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Despite the difficulty mentioned above, it is far easier to manage applications than using a manual runtime.

mainly cost, since the acquisition by salesforce everything got more expensive
