Easy to Use and Extremely Reliable Proxy API Service
What do you like best about the product?
The Web Scraper API has been the best to work with. I absolutely loved it because of its ease of use, implementation, and integration. It retrieved thousands of records within a matter of minutes! The documentation was also excellent. I didn't require any customer support, particularly for the API, due to the service's excellent documentation provided by Oxylabs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, I don't quite like the pricing model for the API, as it works out expensive when I am collecting data for private projects. I therefore attempted use of residential proxies, but I found them unsatisfactory because I could not implement them successfully for my specific use cases. Despite making hundreds of requests, which returned with positive responses, they were not returning any data.
I probably would have benefited from customer support regarding the use of residential proxies or advice on which other types of proxies could be suitable for my case study, as some aspects of the documentation on residential proxies were a bit confusing, but I have not had the opportunity to seek it yet.

Stable and Effective Data Gathering
What do you like best about the product?
I use the Web Scraper API from Oxylab and I'm extremely satisfied. The developer documentation is clear, so getting started with Oxylab was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing and plan structure could be more friendly for smaller projects or individual developers. While the service quality is excellent, a more flexible or entry-level option would make it more accessible.

Quite a good service for web-scraping
What do you like best about the product?
I liked flexibility, Oxylabs allows you to select a country per rented IP that is really useful for scraping regional websites that change their content based in what region the user is located. And it is super easy to integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rolling all your rented IP addresses is quite expensive for usage that requires it really often, current pricing is $1 per 1 IP.

We are operating a Telegram bot that notifies people about their national exam results. Currently we support exams from some Eastern European countries.

The main downside is the pricing. Oxylabs can be expensive for individuals, students, or small businesses, especially if your usage is not at an enterprise level. I hope they consider offering more flexible or affordable plans for smaller users in the future.

The residential proxies have a consistently high success rate, and their Scraper APIs handle IP bans, CAPTCHAs, and dynamic content effortlessly. The reporting tools are precise, helping us monitor and debug scraping jobs with confidence. The technical documentation is clear and developer-friendly, and while the dashboard takes a bit of time to get used to, it becomes efficient with use. One standout feature is the customer support, which is consistently responsive and professional—even during weekends.

The initial learning curve is quite steep, especially for beginners—the dashboard can feel unintuitive at first, and clearer onboarding would help. The pricing for residential proxies is on the higher end, which might be a barrier for smaller teams or early-stage projects. It’s also a limitation that certain high-profile targets like Netflix or Amazon are unsupported, even if for understandable reasons. Additionally, user role management is too restrictive, allowing only one account admin, which complicates team workflows. Finally, there's the occasional issue of getting an IP address with a poor reputation, and a built-in filtering mechanism would improve this.
