Has simplified complex deployments and improved time and cost efficiency

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Kubernetes Everywhere is to implement different solutions, different software, service data points, and various charging related components. We need to install and upgrade these components. Using Kubernetes Everywhere, we perform these implementations, as well as handle serviceability raising and modification of those products. Everything we do is via Kubernetes Everywhere. This is one of the key roles in our products and daily work.

I am working in a TMO project where the customer is implementing container solutions for all of their charging nodes. Using Kubernetes Everywhere, we are deploying various nodes, as well as deploying different AR and STP nodes to ensure charging operates properly without any outage or disruption. Kubernetes Everywhere makes this much easier because it provides significant savings in terms of time and cost.

What is most valuable?

Kubernetes Everywhere offers many excellent features, with automated rollouts and rollbacks being significant. Kubernetes Everywhere facilitates progressive updates to applications and their configurations. It monitors their health during the process. If issues arise, it automatically rolls back to a previous stable version, ensuring application availability. The self-healing portion is also important, along with service discovery and load balancing. The storage orchestration of Kubernetes Everywhere is highly effective.

The storage orchestration has made the biggest difference in my day-to-day work because Kubernetes Everywhere allows for automatic mounting of various storage systems, including local storage, public cloud provider storage such as AWS, Google Cloud, and network storage systems such as NFS and iSCSI, providing flexibility for data persistence.

Kubernetes Everywhere has positively impacted my organization as time consumption has decreased significantly, and regarding cost consumption, the budget requirements have reduced for various projects. These are the advantages of using Kubernetes Everywhere in my project and organization.

What needs improvement?

There are many areas where Kubernetes Everywhere can be improved, such as the defining of resource limits and requests. Accurately setting CPU and memory requests and limits for pods prevents resource starvation and ensures efficient scheduling. Improvements can be made in terms of performance and availability by implementing monitoring and logging. The usage of multiple master nodes can be enabled, along with security enhancements such as prioritizing VPC design and regular updating and patching.

Streamlining of CI/CD pipeline could be enhanced. Integration of Kubernetes Everywhere into CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates can be improved.

The optimization of container images and the choice of appropriate node types can also be enhanced.

I purchased Kubernetes Everywhere through the AWS Marketplace.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment. In terms of money and time consumption, everything has been optimized. In our project, the customer is transitioning from bare metal and virtual machines to Kubernetes Everywhere because of its advantages and positive features.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

In terms of pricing and licensing, it seems absolutely fine; I have no issue with that.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I didn't evaluate other options because many of my colleagues suggested Kubernetes Everywhere, so I chose this solution.

What other advice do I have?

I rate Kubernetes Everywhere a 9 out of 10 because using this solution has significantly reduced time consumption and according to budget expansion, it is very helpful.

I would advise others considering Kubernetes Everywhere to try it because it's the future. It provides savings in money, time, and overall costs, which is very important in today's world.

Automated rollouts and self-healing have reduced downtime and improved deployment efficiency

  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Kubernetes Everywhere is to install the SDP nodes, which are the charging level nodes in my products, as well as to maintain the database and also to develop some new codes on the container level. These are my daily uses.

A quick, specific example of how I use Kubernetes Everywhere for installing SDP nodes is that whenever I need to install software in customer's ICP level or something inside a pod, I need to do some activity. I use Kubernetes basic commands to create those pods and to create the different namespaces and to create database type of things.

I have covered my use cases with Kubernetes Everywhere.

What is most valuable?

The best features Kubernetes Everywhere offers are the automated rollouts and rollbacks, which are very interesting, and the self-healing capabilities, where the system continuously monitors the health of containers and nodes. If a container or node fails, Kubernetes Everywhere automatically detects the issue and replaces or reschedules the affected components to maintain application availability. Those are the plus points, and storage orchestration is also one of the main points, as well as service discovery and load balancing.

I rely on automated rollouts and rollbacks the most in my day-to-day work because this automates the deployment of application updates and configuration changes, ensuring minimal downtime. In my daily work, the customer's main concern is to decrease the downtime, which is why I think it's the most important feature of Kubernetes Everywhere from my perspective.

Another valuable feature is secret and configuration management, along with horizontal scaling.

Kubernetes Everywhere has positively impacted my organization by significantly reducing the time consumption compared to some old VMware level and bare metal level software, making things pop up easily.

What needs improvement?

Kubernetes Everywhere can be improved in performance level by optimizing container images, as using lightweight, optimized container images reduces pull times and resource consumption. Additionally, auto-scaling can be implemented with Kubernetes Everywhere and right-sizing, which means regularly analyzing workload resource usage and adjusting node and pod configurations to prevent over-provisioning or under-utilization.

Another improvement point is the optimization of etcd, which ensures the etcd cluster, the key-value store for Kubernetes Everywhere, is properly configured and optimized for performance. That can be improved partially as well.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Kubernetes Everywhere for around four years if I calculate the total years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Kubernetes Everywhere seems almost stable in my experience.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

In terms of scalability, Kubernetes Everywhere is good enough because it saves our time and narrows down at the application level.

How are customer service and support?

I don't have any prior experience engaging with the Kubernetes Everywhere support team, but I've heard from different colleagues that their support is quite good.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I am using Kubernetes Everywhere from scratch and did not previously use a different solution.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment with Kubernetes Everywhere, where not only money is saved but also time, leading to most of our projects being completed within the proper SLA while deploying our SDP product charging nodes. Using Kubernetes Everywhere makes things easy, and monitoring the node as well as the health check part is very easy. These are the pros.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing for Kubernetes Everywhere seems okay. I don't think budget will be an issue for this if we are going to use it.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I have not evaluated other options before choosing Kubernetes Everywhere because I heard from most of my colleagues to use it, which is why I chose to go with it.

What other advice do I have?

I would advise others looking into using Kubernetes Everywhere to at least start to use it because the optimization of container images, the auto-scaling, self-healing capabilities, storage orchestration, load balancing part, and automatic bin packing offer significant benefits.

I have shared my thoughts about Kubernetes Everywhere. On a scale of one to ten, I rate Kubernetes Everywhere a nine.
