Secure and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
We've used Exavault for a long time to securely transmit data to our clients, and it's a solid solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind that is not working well.

Very best FTP hosting site we have used...
What do you like best about the product?
We are a consulting and software support company. We supply FTP hosting for many of our clients. Exavaults pricing for the FTP hosting service is the best in the market. Exavault allows unlimited users, customers and folders at a fair price. In the past, we have used several different FTP hosting sites, and after a year or so, they all raised their pricing to the point they were no longer economical as a vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
No FTP hosting service meets everyone's specific needs. We find Exavault a bit tiresome in the way they handle the user setup, but it is still very usable. The one thing that would be helpful is a notepad attached to each user to hold vital information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The real value for us is the ease of accessing FTP folders by our clients. By providing direct link URLs to the end user, we have seen a significant drop in support time to help users utilize FTP folders for file transfers.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using ExaVault since at least 2012, and not once have we experienced any downtime or issues that kept us from doing our jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downloading a folder for the first time can take time for it to convert to a zip file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to move files between us and our clients with ease. No special FTP software, and gives us the ability to specify folders and users so our clients can send us files easily too.
10 Years of Reliable Service
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Exavault for ten years, and they've been a solid provider throughout our relationship. Their interface is flexible without being complex; our department leads can easily manage our customer folders without the assistance of IT. They can assign permissions, set notifications and negotiate inbound and outbound traffic confidently. Their support has always been very responsive, even though we're not a huge client. Recently they were able to restore our entire transfer structure after a new employee mistakenly deleted everything. Their service has allowed us to be highly aware of customer traffic and react immediately to their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish they had more capability in customizing notifications and site messaging, but that's a small price to pay for their stability. Occasionally their plans to upgrade services conflicted with our production schedules, but that's the luck of the draw. Services were restored in a timeframe that minimized the impact on our production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exavault provides a simple interface for our customers to upload large files to that does a good job of notifying our team when something requires our attention.
Exavault is a great SFTP solution for smaller SAAS companies
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Exavault is easy to use. The UI is very simple. I can set up user accounts easily for clients that want to use "our" SFTP to send and receive files securely. And it is easy for our back-end to be set up to send and receive files to Exavault. And you do not have to be a technical resource to be able to set up the integrations. It's great!
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been only a few instances over the years of using Exavault where there have been unexpected downtimes on the Exavault side that created issues for us sending/receiving files to/from clients. However, the status updates that are posted on the site during the outages are helpful for us managing the communications and expectations with our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a SAAS company that needs to exchange sensitive data files with our clients. Exavault provides us with a secure FTP site to be able to do that. It has helped us add new clients that require this service.
Easy to deploy, easier to manage, stress free remote storage
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of deployment and management are the best features of Exavault. Instead of having to configure clients on each PC, the web based interface has made deploying this for remote team members and employees effortless. The price point is also pretty amazing, and their solution is scalable to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial interface was a bit clunky when we started, but there have been great improvement and it the ease of use has increased dramatically since we first signed up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We require having CAD drawings sent to us for development, as well as the ability to make them available to our toolshops and engineers. Exavault makes this a breeze when large files are involved.
ExaVault has been an excellent tool and is easy to use.

It is so easy to use and the ability to share specific folders with specific people has been especially helpful.

I cannot think of a single thing that I do not like about ExaVault

What do you like best about the product?
ExaVault Cloud FTP is great if you don't know that all it takes is a $1 domain name and $3/month for hosting storage, which automatically gives you an FTP server on your domain name. The service is excellent if you don't know that, but now you do.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it exists, they are selling service at a higher rate just because you don't know how to obtain your own FTP server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None, and it is not benefiting anyone.
Easy to use external FTP site
What do you like best about the product?
We've found this site quite easy to use, valuable and affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Userids must be unique throughout the Exavault universe instead of just unique at a company level.
Can only assign one home folder. I've had to create a separate userid to give someone access to another folder not within their home folder view.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can share folders containing larger files with customers/clients where those files can't be sent via email. We receive files from customers that are easily processed with automated processes.
The best FTP on the block....
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, expedient uploads, detailed records and a secure means of delivering products to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it works reliably and consistently.

Final delivery of video projects. Exavault is the ideal electronic delivery method for large media files.
