Excellent and simple to use service.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple user and folder management, as well as quick file sharing with multiple options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like a more seamless way to integrate with Windows File Server. As I'm looking into this, it looks like that are options that I will pursue.

Affordable, Reliable, Flexible, Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
ExaVault thoroughly checks the boxes for what we needed - a hosted FTP service. We can upload/download via traditional FTP, API, SFTP, and FTPS, it all just works and has been reliable. Customer support is helpful and responsive. The web UI for adding users is simple and effective. At this point, ExaVault is mission-critical for our business, and it has been reliable enough to justify our trust in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have no complaints. We have experienced only one period of downtime in the last 6-7 years, which is hardly something we can complain about!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a hosted FTP service. ExaVault provides this.
Makes our workflow easier
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use either the web interface or a standard FTP connection to move and share files makes this software a perfect custom fit for our users

I can't think of anything that I would like changed about Exavault

Being able to deal with file transfer for multiple end-user setups has been a key to our operations.

Great FTP Platform
What do you like best about the product?
ExaVault provides fantastic developer options with their custom API that we've used for over two years to make our processes more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to have more customizable user permission options.

We were looking for an inexpensive, user-friendly FTP option for our business, and they matched our needs perfectly.
A reliable FTP service
What do you like best about the product?
We are using ExaVault service for some years now and we had none problems with the service. Maybe one or two tickets that were resolved quickly by the support team.
They have a nice dashboard to configure the different accounts, users, folders, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the one thing that at first sight is a bit confusing is the different dashboards for the client area and FTP area, where if you are a first time user you might find a bit strange given you have only one login.

We are using ExaVault FTP service to provide a place for our users and partners to share files with us. Even today FTP is a simple and reliable way to share files.

Undocumented limits bit us hard. Line from support was something along the lines of they don't have many customers that would be affected.
Usage limits are somewhat opaque - the built-in reports don't help here as they're not the same basis.

Great SFTP Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The solution was extremely easy to configure. I was looking for a hosted solution that gave me FTP/SFTP functionality and a web interface for handling customer file management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is API access, but I was hoping for more functionality in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ExaVault Cloud FTP provides FTP/SFTP service to allow us to exchange files securely with our customers. Working with ExaVault's service is much easier than hosting your own FTP solution and you get much more functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
Exavault makes user and folder management easy - it's simple to create new secure directories for different partners and enable them to access those folders with an onboarding experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
We understand that Exavault has recently been acquired by files.com and will soon be increasing prices in alignment with files.com's existing pricing structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exavault allows our partners to securely share files with us, and for our platform to automatically pick those files up and process them as needed for our core scenarios.
Easy to use and get started
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use! I have a super easy time adding users and setting permissions for them. We also have a super easy time connecting our customers via SFTP.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more integration options, especially with Salesforce. We would love to leverage data from ExaVault to SF to answer questions like "when did a customer last upload a file?" or trigger an email alert to a specific Account Manager when a file is uploaded (we can do so in EV but not dynamically).
