Turning Improves Overall Engagement

Ability to use live video in presentation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Turning I have been able to increase engagement in my classes and have more of an interactive session during training. My students are participating and enjoy the gaming features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If using turning to enhance engagement and increase virtual teaching interaction, this tool really helps do all of those things. Practice using the technology before getting in front of your classes.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows for professors to record lectures for students to watch later

It doesn't cancel out background noise, so you can hear students rustling around

I can prerecord lectures for students to watch later. I can also password protect the lectures so only my students have access
Great place to watch online lectures
What do you like best about the product?
There are many great things that are in echo 360. The way it allows to find files, volume, speed option and picture in picture options. If you want to listen at slow speed you can just reduce the speed of the video. If you want to go at high speed then you can just increase the speed to your desired speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't easily allow the user to download videos. The forward and backward are somewhat not accurate. You need to click on screen then move arrows to go to desired time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To store online lectures and make it available to students anytime they want to view. Good for professors as you can't delete or edit them unless given permission.

Should buy this as this is good for students and professors

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automatic nature of the platform in that it's tethered to the start and end time of a class. Nothing needed for turning on or off.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very hard to edit the material carefully once the recording has been generated, without removing large portions of it-- in a fast / easy manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For students who miss class due to job interviews this is a great way for them to not only hear the lecture but also see the content, all in real time.
Overly onerous on the presenter
What do you like best about the product?
It has nice integration with Powerpoint, it can seem native given the way the toolbar works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the user is required to have a Turning account can be very onerous, licence management within an institution is a nightmare as the user is required to work through the company. I find some of the features to be pretty unstable.

When it works it can aid audience engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Depending on your need, more reliable, cheaper and easy to use alternatives exist for the online version of Turningpoint. If you are using Turingpoint with hardware, no other clicker options in the market charge an annual fee for using the software so you might want to consider alternatives first.

What do you like best about the product?
This app is super helpful to use when my colleagues and I are deciding on something and we need to poll.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how there are lots of bugs here and there, probably because it is lesser known.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My colleagues and I are solving the problems of interactive polling together. I have realized that this is such a helpful tool that reduces effort and time by at least 50%.
I use this software to answer questions from my teachers in class.
What do you like best about the product?
Teachers use it to administer tests and quizzes. It helps prevent us students from cheating or cheating and makes data collection and analysis much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the only problem I have found in the use of the software is the price. Many of us students have to pay the monthly paid version, but there are others who cannot afford it and that is a limitation.

This software is excellent and very intuitive in classrooms as it is very functional for both teachers and us students, as it not only supports active learning with live surveys and interactive homework capabilities, but it also allows you Allows unlimited surveys to obtain information on student perceptions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I appreciate the ability of this software to communicate in large classes with students. My instructor is willing to lecture and also pose concerns for the comprehension of students. He or she can modify the education according to the responses of the student.

No live reporting on the current usage, and overall reporting.

Excellent lecture capture and video management
What do you like best about the product?
Well-thought out SaaS platform for higher ed. Designed for higher ed. Use of sprints with updates, and very receptive to product features. Excellent support services. Very stable platform. Recording appliances are very stable. Administered at the institution level, but flexible with sub-admins for colleges, departments, or units. Good student app as well as integration with major LMSs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat expensive, but given how we were managing servers with the on-premise solution, the SaaS is definitely better. They expanded into audience response which was OK, but we use a different solution for Echo360 for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining lecture capture for whole Veterinary curriculum was important and this checked all the boxes. Besides recording all of the courses, we use it to record training, faculty seminars used for interviews, special meetings that require live streaming for overflow attendees or attendees not at our institution. Solved some accommodation students that need extended access to courses, or need to attend remotely because of health issues.
Amazing product.

I liked that it picked up sound clearly.

Nothing, everything seemed to work very well on my end.

It allows me to easily record lectures for my students and quickly send them.
