Headless CMS power
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to create headless experiences, I let my devs build components that scale and give the freedom to my marketing teams to be themselves... Creative!
What do you dislike about the product?
The drag and drop functionalities could improve a bit
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to create a headless experience which makes our site 10 times faster, more scalable and faster times to market
A long way to go for a competitive product
What do you like best about the product?
High-quality visual editor with many customizable options. Offers extensive documentation and great API support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Additional charges take place without any warning signs. Simple plugins that are needed for a basic website require paid plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamstack sites with easy content editing.
more visual icons to understand the site structure
What do you like best about the product?
the research bar works at best for finding information!
What do you dislike about the product?
representation of the cms structure does not match the representation of frontend
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
translation mistakes of text preloaded in my language
Horrible customer support and onboarding flow
What do you like best about the product?
That's a damn good question. Only their cheap prices I think.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our experience with their customer support / SDRs are horrible. Resistance right when they get to know that you're not in their Enterprise plan, wrong names when addressing people, not following up on deadlines, and horrible internationalization API. Their API is what any dev would consider very rigid to work with, their docs are horrible, and their customer support doesn't know anything about their own product / API, so there is no human help to get. Good luck to the next dev sitting and guessing how their API is supposed to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mean their folder structure is kinda good, but that's also it
Finally, a CMS and content platform balancing content management with visual page building
What do you like best about the product?
From my perspective, choosing a CMS has always been a compromise between having a flexible visual editor to build engaging landing pages while still being able to define the guardrails and roles/permissions to ensure consistency of UX and UI. I appreciate the all the aspects of the tool that enable flexibility within the context of a given user's role/permissions, which enable admins to present only the relevant and necessary functions and access for that given user's jobs to be done and scope of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite honestly I do not have any complaints at this point, I think the only challenge we face is ensuring that moving forward our marketing team has the development resources to fully leverage the features and benefits of the platform, but this is an internal question and not a dislike of Storyblok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok is enabling a self-service model for our team (as well as other internal stakeholders) to regain ownership of particular content sections and user journeys. So long to the days of our website being a black box where the update, maintenance, and execution of new content and marketing initiatives requires long waiting times or development resources. Storyblok equips our team with a powerful and flexible set of tools that can be tailored to each users role and responsibilities.
Seamless experience for the publisher and the customer
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect is that it becomes intuitive the more you use it. After a little while, changing things and innovating become second nature. There's nothing like it in the market; being able to go live immediately, is simply a time and money saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a small learning curve, which is to be expected. It's not daunting; anyone can pick it up and create beautiful things. I think future users would benefit from more tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timesaving. Theres unfortunately no room for downtime in my industry, having Storyblok helps me be productive and get things done and published quickly.
Its deffinetly the best CMS out there
What do you like best about the product?
The best upside is that marketers can easily use it and learn it. It also saves lots of developer hours due to it's easy to use interface and user friendliness.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about it. I wish I was able to find some answers easier in the lots of documentation created but otherwise I think it's just a perfect CMS that can be used by any business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to save time and cover lots of issues when it comes to efficiency in the market due to it's internationalisation, and easy to use and learn features that are out there.
pretty close to perfect

The plugin system is quite rudimentary and not user-friendly (for devs or editors).

Incredibly quick in terms of results. Fully featured and constantly growing. Excellent support.

V2 is still a bit unstable, and missing some (very few) features.

Easy to use CMS. Integrates well with react / next.js and building a static site.
