A CMS Built For Marketers

  • April 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The visual editing tool that Storyblok has is incredibly easy to use. As an Agency we support/offer several different CMS platforms that Storyblok has always been the number 1 pick for ease-of-use for the non-technical user. I am a marketer at heart and find that page building doesn't require IT or development's involvement to get content and pages built quickly. This is the main takeaway our clients mention after a demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
When implementing Storyblok within a .NET environment it can sometimes be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a digital agency specializing in CMS driven website development, we often work closely with marketing departments and Storyblok fits their needs well. Its headless architecture also gives us the flexibility to integrate best-fit tools and systems based on each client’s specific requirements.

My StoryBlok App Experience to the Platform

  • April 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Storyblok is its visual editor—it makes content changes easy to preview in real time, which really helps collaboration between developers and content teams.

I also appreciate the component-based structure, which keeps things consistent and reusable. The headless CMS setup is super helpful too, letting us push content to different platforms without extra effort.

It’s flexible, supports multiple languages out of the box, integrates well with modern frameworks, and has a clean interface that’s easy for anyone to use. Overall, it strikes a great balance between power and simplicity.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Storyblok is that its learning curve can be a bit steep at first, especially for those unfamiliar with headless CMS concepts or component-based content modeling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok solves several key problems that modern teams face when managing content across multiple platforms. Its headless architecture decouples content from presentation, making it easy to deliver the same content to websites, apps, and other digital channels without duplication. For me, this means I can build and maintain scalable projects faster, with more flexibility in the tech stack.

Not bad, not great

What do you like best about the product?
Pretty decent user interface makes it easy to train new users, especially if they have experience with WordPress or other CMSes
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be quite buggy from time to time, which can make things difficult when publishing on a specific timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's pretty standard for a CMS, so no specific problems its solving. But as a CMS, it does a fair enough job. I've used quite a few different ones, and I'd say Storyblok is about middle of the road.

A Flexible and Developer-Friendly CMS with Great Visual Editing

  • April 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Storyblok offers a fantastic visual editor that makes it easy for both developers and content editors to work together. Its component-based architecture allows us to create reusable blocks and streamline content management across multiple projects. The headless nature of the CMS makes it easy to integrate with any frontend framework. The documentation is solid, and the UI is clean and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storyblok has a bit of a learning curve at the start—especially for non-technical users. The pricing can also be a bit high for smaller teams or startups. At times, the UI can lag when working with complex content trees, and more flexibility in customizing workflows or permissions would be a great improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok solves the challenge of managing content across multiple platforms while keeping development flexible. As a headless CMS, it allows our team to decouple the frontend from the backend, enabling faster development cycles and easier integration with modern frameworks like Vue, React, or Nuxt. The visual editor empowers our non-technical team members to edit content without needing developer assistance, reducing bottlenecks and improving collaboration. Overall, it saves us time, enhances productivity, and helps maintain consistent branding across channels.
