3D wiring harnesses
What do you like best about the product?
the easy of use and how easy it is to integrate with other Siemens offerings including TC and NX
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are unfamiliar with 3D CAD, there is a steep learning curve

helps tremendously with 3D routing of wiring harnesses
Flexibility with reliability
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility in which I'm able to use the tool to create a competitive advantage in the short term is paramount to driving our business forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Saas model for licensing is less customer friendly and creates an atmosphere of perceived value which is one way rather than the partnership I would wish to foster.

The ease of design from years of creating the base of the system to our exact needs.

EBOM Sync and configuration can be still better w.rt the performance.

THey are solvings some of the issues with PMI, like PMI parts list, tables etc.
Highest Quality CAD Software I've Used
What do you like best about the product?
NX is the highest quality CAD software I have used as a user of all of the top CAD competitors. I started with NX 12 and am currently using NX2312, which is a large upgrade that still feels mostly the same as 12 before it. NX is easier to use in assemblies than its competitors and the level of precision and options it allows is impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
NX2312 in particular performs worse on machines that previous NX versions worked fine on. Certain common tasks like sketching I've noticed do seem to take extra clicks by default across the old versions compared to the new. The time loss does not seem overall noticeable to me, however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NX provides a high quality software for modeling, assemblies, and creating drawings. It is highly customizable and keeps around features including legacy features that users may find useful.

NX is a good tool for the users who want to design complex product with less effort
What do you like best about the product?
We can design part and assembly the way we like with less constraint. I like synchronous modeling
What do you dislike about the product?
Bugs and support from Siemens support is slow. When I fixed some major bug, Siemens takes 6 to 8 months to release patch and it create a major disruption.
For Example : I reported a bug in NX2312 where bodies were missing when I export a strep file in May 2024. Siemens released patch in Nov 2024

We are using NX CAD to design consumer electronics products. It is a good tool and users love it.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easier to setup and get started for a new customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing cost is high for small to medium customer like suppliers

It is resolving the design problems and helping the product designers to move fast.

Hands on sessions was good and NX next version update was very usefull
