NX creates an environment which is flexible to suit our needs
What do you like best about the product?
The way it integrates with Teamcenter, which helps to keep data organised

It can have a steep learning curve to fully utilize the potential of the software

It allows us to create large complicated assemblies and seamlessly write the changes back to Teamcenter

NX CAD is a CAD system with very high customizable environment. We can create in NX complex product with very complicated structires

Excellent CAD environment to design a product, automate design activities, embed the design knowledge in CAD

It takes too much time by Siemens to fix the gaps in the product

It allows users to design the product, manage changes, automate the design activities.
Industry leading CAD system
What do you like best about the product?
The baseline capabilities of NX together with all the optional modules makes NX one of my preferred solutions when it comes to CAD. The fact that all the menus and ribbons are completely customizable makes it a joy to work as you can create a fit-for-purpose ribbon with the tools you need and use the most. It works great with large assemblies, and have tools and options to make this load quickly and run well without hogging too many resources. The seamless integration to Teamcenter and the possibility to browse the entire Teamcenter database while modelling makes putting together large assemblies with standard parts easy and practical.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve to use NX and learn all its ins-and-outs can be difficult. However, spending the time to do it is definitely worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NX CAD is used for almost all modeling in our business, and we wouldn't have a business without it.

Not easy to manage bundles and features in terms of the license management.

NX is a super complete CAD with a lot of features to handle pretty much all CAD-related tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Its complexity may be too overwhelming. The system is meant to be industry and application agnostic, forcing workflows and setup too long and complex.
