NX CAD
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to define custom features using Algorithmic modeling and Program Selection. Support from DISW is excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance is very poor...slow when dealing with complex models and large assemblies

Design and manufacturing, creating models for analyses

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create designs for optimization and the ability to customize. It's easy to use with a wide array of features a long with great customer support

Sometimes custom code is needed to be the most efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are designing parts with the harshest of conditions, NX allows us to design these parts and analyze them in full fidelity.

Interface can sometimes get difficult and unintuitive.

Lack of training. Training is a cost and xcelerator is not very user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
CAD Modeling capabilities are very good. Automation capability with NXOpen very good. Ability to define features with NXOpen custom features is an industry Leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some complex features take a long time to update. For example, boolean of a lot of bodies or a fillets on a large number of edges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can create robust models for MDO design. Can customize advanced features.

Takes advantage of native engineering knowledge and helps user to get where the design needs to go

Interoperability for major component integrations in an assembly structure is not a very smooth process without neutral file formatting

Baseline tool for component builds in MCAD and Advanced/Additive manufacturing space

Well know design tool with high end modeling and analysis capabilities.
