Comprehensive tool for all CAD areas

Continuous Master Model Concept and Synchronous Modeling

Each feature has its own license, sometimes very expensive.

Creation of measurement models for 3D printing with WAAM.
NX as a powerful aid to master the workday.

The versatility in the software and the continuous development.

The partly very hidden commands and the slow start.

The with I'm collaboration with Teamcenter can reuse the data without media breaks.
In my opinion NX is a very reliable and intuitive Programm.

I like the structure of the commands and the way you can define your objects.

Sometimes the functions are overcomplex and you dont get a good help for understanding what column, value and so on is for what.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NX offers a lot different options for us to design our product. We try to develop fabric covers for our furniture in NX and we believe that NX is the right tool for it. It will need some improvement but the basis is there.
I am team leader of vpd. vpd team have NX.
What do you like best about the product?
It's better than catia and autocad. It is easy to use.

Every time changed lay out. it is very confused to me

Best-in-class CAD/CAM package with lots of functionality, well integrated with other Siemens portfolio products

Some difficulty in version-matching between NX version and NX-on-TC version

i really feel powerful while designing in nx

I can find any command using search easily also the toolbars are customized so easily.

its the working with really large assemblies :(
