Rangeforce accellerating new-joiner staff development
What do you like best about the product?
We use the Rangeforce pre-defined learning paths to assemble our training programs to train our new-joiners. Rangeforce simplyfies our effort and allows for easy tracking of progress
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had difficulty identifying and changing roles within the Rangeforce user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

actually, the content of all labs i learned with RangeForce are amazing and valuable.
What do you like best about the product?
the most helpful thing it's the content with Online Labs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing i dislike but it would be better if you can increase the number of free labs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Problem solved with RangeForce is the practical side of the investigation, it's amazing to me.

Easily accessible, relevant, adjustable, tailored

A couple of the modules need adjusting slightly but when they did the team are really open to client feedback / requirements. Very impressive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue is always how to technically upskill in a way that is accesible, great value for money and is highly relevant. Rangeforce covers all of those boxes and more

It's hands-on and very easy to follow. There is a good amount of different topics that cover the broad spectrum within Cybersecurity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing particular that I truly dislike about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had to provide technical training to recurrent groups of new joiners within the company. We hired Rangeforce to provide the support and curriculum for this training to be up to date and with relevant and accurate information.

An extraordinary experience. In addition to the subject summaries, the difficulties of the application are sufficient.

Solving can be fun and sometimes challenging. Some applications are missing answers, they can be added as well.

Great Platform for overall SOC training
What do you like best about the product?
Wide range of modules from beginner to more advanced. Easy to tailor individual training plans for every level of your team. Each room explains everything clearly and even provide hints to nudge you in the right direction of stuck. The battle paths modules are great way to test your skills that accumulate into a final capstone that challenges you on everything you learned from the previous modules. Also you get badges. Who doesn't like badges.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some rooms can take a while to load and there are frequent timeouts due to this. Some modules are older than others and can be finky when it comes to inputting answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us test our SOC with real scenarios before they happen in our environment without the need to take our offensive security team away from their busy schedules. We are able to supplement our team's skills with easy to complete rooms without setting up huge engagements.

Cybersecurity Training - RangeForce
What do you like best about the product?
RangeForce got me sufficient training to implement strategies, work with enhancement tools and various techniques to secure the data components of my organization. It made me understand the importance of adhering to ethical security behaviours for miligation and risk analysis. Also RangeForce helped me with understanding the security features which can me done in cloud computing architecture in detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Training by RangeForce for improving Cybersecurity skills was great. I didn't have anything to dislike in their training approach and their software platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RangeForce training gave me an excellent understanding of IT compliance and the integrity standards of enterprise systems. These values help to establish a more secure enterprise-level IT framework. Also, I was able to comprehend the various legal requirements in terms of software licensing, privacy issues, and the audit processing methods which need to be followed within the cloud-based environment.

RangeForce offers awesome skill enhancement trainings for fresh Cybersecurity analysts.

What do you like best about the product?
The interactive nature of the training. The range of modules available. Quick response to technical or content issues reported using the "Feedback" tab. New content added regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "assumptions" about levels of knowledge. Pre-requisites are not clearly defined. Modules are not always ordered. The platform is "dynamic", so it's not always obvious when a section has previously been completed. Some modules covering pre-requisite knowledge do not currently exist. No links within a module to other modules providing "support" information. Hints can sometimes be irrelevant (i.e. hint to question already answered correctly). (Hints containing links to other modules might also be useful).

What do you like best about the product?
The lab is the best because it makes me feel that I'm doing a real-world scenario, instead of the theories. The lab also forces me to study deeper into a certain problem that I cannot resolve in the lab itself. i can pause anytime and go back where I left off, thus giving me time to study the gaps that I do not understand well. The lab is a mixture of clues and no clues at all, which really makes me go deeper and research from outside. This is the correct way of learning. One must not depend on one platform for researching and studying.
Also the PDF material is also good. It does not discusses lengthy topics on certain subjects. It might be incomplete in some way, but as I have mentioned, one must not depend on single or few resources. The PDF material is short but informative and straightforward. It deals directly to the topic issue that needs to be resolved in the lab. And yes, the material is related to the lab. There are resources from other training platform that contains a lot of unnecessary information, which causes confusion in some way.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have no dislike. The only problem that I encountered sometime is that the virtual lab is slow. I'm not sure if it is my connection or the traffic which cause bottleneck in the operation of the server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently brushing up my knowledge in Cybersecurity concepts. I had some training from other provider but I liked the platform that I'm using from RangeForce. The phase of training is so much better because after each module, I get to do a hands-on. Unlike other resources, I have to study on a lot of theoretical or foundational knowledge before getting my hands dirty. I, as a technical person, is more adept to the concept of "learn by doing it". I can easily learn something if I'm doing hands-on because it does not show the process of doing it, but it helps in analyzing how certain things work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a guy who love to learn while doing it, take the courses from RangeForce! The platform provides challenging tasks, which urges you to study deeper. Thus, providing better learning experience and fast phase because the issue to be resolved in the platform is straightforward. No lengthy theoretical discussion, no unnecessary information. Just do the labs, so as the real-world scenarios.
