The platform is dynamic
What do you like best about the product?
The team actively listens to client feedback making adjustments to the modules accordingly. The cybersecurity training they provide was excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support is responsive it is helpful if they provide assistance. Having a range of hands on scenarios that simulate real world cybersecurity problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RangeForce solves the issue of a cybersecurity skills gap.It provides a learning platform for cyber defense techniques. This equiped my team with the knowledge and skills to protect our cyber assets.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the creative content they have curated, I also love the intuitiveness of using their Virtual Teaching Assistant (VTA).
What do you dislike about the product?
The loading times of Windows machines can be a bit long (2-3 mins), but I know that this is something that cannot be avoided since it takes time to spin-up Windows machines on the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing online labs for large groups of people is challenging and requires a lot of effort and time; Range Force has completely solved this issue for us!
High Level Cyber Training Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Rangeforce allowed our students to get tons of real-world cybersecurity experience that will help them stand out when looking for jobs in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the features could be more geared towards education, with difficulty levels assigned to the modules and more modules at the entry-level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rangeforce allows us to give great cybersecurity training to our students without us having to create our own cyber range or challenges. This allows us to focus on other aspects of our program.
It's great for beginners, but is in dire need of updates, particularly from Microsoft.
What do you like best about the product?
Great pricing. Easy to use and administer for security teams. Broad array of content. Great support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Out-of-date material (Microsoft Defender, Azure, Cloud products).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are updating Microsoft's Defender and cloud products. We depend heavily on Microsoft's cloud products, so this is a big deal for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Their selection of content is great. Difficulty ranges from simple to challenging. Support is terrific.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their product isn't built for my (higher education) market, so the tools needed to organize/assign labs for different classes are lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is difficult to find online lab content at the "right" level and focus for classes. When trying to replace the old "in the classroom" experiences with an online version, most vendors have products that are too simple or too "click here, enter this" to be a real learning experience. Rangeforce does a great job with providing labs that students must figure out how to complete.
RangeForce is a Great Mixture of Practical and Guided Cybersecurity Training
What do you like best about the product?
RangeForce does an excellent job of making its content accessible to a wide range of cybersecurity talent through the use of its Virtual Teaching Assistant (VTA). Users who are more entry-level in cybersecurity can use the VTA's hint/solution feature to better guide them through complex modules, while users who are more advanced in cybersecurity can choose to skip the VTA's hints/solutions, giving them a more hands-off and practical experience. RangeForce has carefully crafted its training plans to slowly ween users off of the guidance of the VTA as they progress through the plan until the training plan's capstone, which offers no VTA guidance. By doing this, RangeForce has created very accessible training plans where users can set their own difficulty at their own pace to become experienced cybersecurity professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
While RangeForce's defensive security training plans are very robust, I would like to see more offensive security training plans in addition to what they already have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RangeForce is one of the few online training platforms that understand what organizations are looking for in cybersecurity professionals, such as cloud and IoT security, and is constantly developing new training plans to meet these needs. They are also closely involved in listening to customer needs and customizing training plans to better serve their customer community.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Rangeforce gives great hands-on experience of tooling and a good understanding of the subject area. The team at rangeforce are very supportive and a pleasure to deal with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be good to have more explanation around some of the tasks to give context etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing learners to gain hands-on experience with some of the technology and see how they work in practice.

What do you like best about the product?
The learning modules are very actual to the current security threats and vulnerabilities. New modules are added continuously.

The instructions for some tasks are not so clearly explained.
