Very good experience with GraphQL and content federation
What do you like best about the product?
Two things: first, content federation, and second, type inference with GraphQL.
GraphQL queries in Hygraph are easy and clear, mainly because they don't have all that typical Relay-like structure (with edges { node { ... } }) that other CMSs use. This makes writing queries simpler and more natural. They also use cursor-based pagination, and the structure remains quite clean.
Another useful thing is using something like gql.tada that automatically generates types from GraphQL queries, saving a lot of development time and reducing errors.
In our specific case, content federation is key because we have invested a lot of time in our own APIs. And being able to reuse all that directly in Hygraph, without having to synchronize data all the time, is very valuable, especially because we handle thousands of elements with complicated relationships, and it's one less moving part we have to maintain.
Also, thanks to their support and sales team, who have supported us throughout the decision-making process.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps what I like least is that it does not come with any advanced function for customization or content segmentation. For those specific things, you have to integrate other tools separately. But this, on the other hand, keeps our architecture more modular, which from my point of view is positive, but it requires changing the mindset of looking for an "all-in-one" CMS and changing it to "let's use the best tool for each problem."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a CMS to replace the CMS we have built over the years due to the continuous expansion of the business and the need to manage new brands and markets in an efficient way.

Very Good
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use, very intuitive, seems to be very fit for purpose
What do you dislike about the product?
not used it enough to notice any down side. SO far everything is very straight forward and customer friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finally able to have all staff on same page and using same software which makes for a smoother operation. Live content updates.
I can finally grow my content
What do you like best about the product?
No need to overpay for CMS tools that provide little value. Hygraph is great product and the makers know it. I was able to easily build a custom blog page and publish the first article in 1 day. I'm not even a technical person but the process is straightforward. Posting content is super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have never set up a headless CMS the implementation process requires some thinking to do it but there is enough documentation and youtube videos that will guide you. If you are completely NOT technical I would consider help of a developer for setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can quickly deploy a blog page for custom built websites
Flexible CMS but not easy to use for content and marketing teams
What do you like best about the product?
Hygraph is headless and allows flexibility. I enjoy how it integrates with our tech stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
It‘s quite annoying that new site types require tech involvement. The flexibility is great but also requires some technical skills which makes it harder for our marketing and content team to work with it. Also, the system does not always work as intended (e.g., enumerations are not always shown properly in the frontend even though everything looks fine in Hygraph).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re using HyGraph as headless CMS for our content hub, next to our own-built tech platform.
A fantastic CMS for Marketeers and Developers
What do you like best about the product?
Its APIs and Documentation.
As a developer, it is very easy to integrate with our other parties and implement a system that is clear and effective for our marketing team

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I do not think I have encountered any problems or seen anything I was not expecting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a simpe and clean user interface for marketers to interact with the data.
Great for CMS
What do you like best about the product?
From KoRo's (the company I work at) perspective I like that we have several things in one place that we had to go do on separate programs before. I work as a translator, copywriter and sometimes content creator and I like that we can both add new content or take content to translate easily. Especially for the translations to be able to have one language right below the german original is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not the easiest to use at first, especially for copywriting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned before, ease of translation, our previous software was pretty complicated and caused us a lot of problems in the past. We still have to use it for parts of the website but will hopefully be able to switch everything to hygraph.
My journey with Hygraph
What do you like best about the product?
I consider it really easy to escalate, so if you are comfortable with GrapghQL, hygraph will make manage content really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the free plan is too limited so in many projects you will have to upgrade your plan if you need a decent amount of API calls
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping me provide the final client an easy way for them to manage their content.
Simple but takes adjusting and guidance
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and effective for managing content online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the most user-friendly, takes time to adjust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hygraph makes it easier to manage content without being tied to a specific website setup, which was a big shift from WordPress for me. It’s not the most intuitive at first, but once I got the hang of it, it let me organize and edit articles more smoothly.
