Security Training & Phishing Campaign Review

What do you like best about the product?
I like how much you can automate the followups, track results and the visibility you get into those results. I love that knowbe4 helps me remember stuff, since I usually do that for everyone it has helped lighten the administrative tracking that I was doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have noticed that due to our environment our sandbox scans the phishing emails which causes employees to fail, however it is hard to tell if a failure was from that individual or our sandbox, since everyone says "I didn't do it." I also wish that we could eliminate false positives, for example if an out of office response is on during a campaign the user will fail because the OOO responds. Also I wish if trainings are going to be discontinued (ex. Executive Series) a notification providing alternative trainings would be helpful.
Also, We have the platinum level, but I'm finding it doesn't have as many trainings as it should, in order to get the most relevant stuff you need the highest level, so I wish there was more at all levels and not just the best at the top level.

Also, we still haven't been able to get the Phishing button implemented and it has been a lot of back and forth with support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track and ensure people complete trainings timely. I haven't used it yet but definitely looking into developing my own trainings and using the SCORM.

Teaching users to be vigilant

What do you like best about the product?
The knowledge that has been passed on to our end users. Between the testing and awareness training. While they usually stop by to celebrate the victory of passing a test more often than not it isn't a test that we've initiated rather a real phishing email.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest downfall has been keeping users in the system up to date. we're constantly growing and its been a missed resource to many times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Awareness Training, Both Scale able and documented. Live Phishing tests. Its almost like practicing with the real thing so authentic results
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Security Awareness easily addressed along with accountability. Users need to know what types of threats they can fall victim to inside and outside of work. The majority don't think before they click.

A Most Necessary service for your cyber security needs

What do you like best about the product?
It is a service that proves its mettle with the knowledge gained for our end users in battling the "enemy."
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most is that I don't have the time to invest more into this service so that we can be better protected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The lack of knowledge in our employees in order to build up our human firewall. The knowledge gained has been tremendous and has surely reduced our threat landscape for our company.

Educate the Users

What do you like best about the product?
The tutorials provided by KnowBe4 provide a wealth of information for users to learn to identify phishing emails and avoid cyber incidents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup of a phishing campaign can be a bit cumbersome, but with the help of support i was able to overcome this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our initial phishing test resulted in a 28% click rate. After implementing the training modules, we have dropped our click rate to 4%.

Catch em' Kill em'

What do you like best about the product?
The 'just in time' training delivered by the customizable landing pages for failed clickers; and of course, the ability to automate the phishing tests, 'set it, and forget it!'. Not that it's forgotten... just getting into what's doable with PhishER, I'm excited to dig into it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of time I'm able to devote to configurations... no complaints on the KnowBe4 side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Risk mitigation, and education. Realized benefits have been top level execs getting 'caught'; where the lesson of check the link has truly sunk in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to implement to its fullest potential, powerful platform; basically just r.t.f.m. i guess.

Keeps getting better!

What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 keeps getting better - the variety of resources, from videos to posters, makes it easy to customize training campaigns. The phishing and vishing tests have been incredibly valuable on creating a baseline and then seeing our progress as employees become experts in the area of security awareness.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface for setting up campaigns can be a bit frustrating but after using it a few times I've got it down!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use KnowBe4 primarily for Security Awareness Training resources and quarterly phishing tests. With the KnowBe4 resources I've been able to create a custom training for the last three years plus for new hires so that content is standardized. The benefit, which we see through the results of the phishing tests, is that employees have become savvy at spotting phishing and we have a robust security culture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Become familiar with all the content - the platform is powerful and varied. By being familiar with what is offered, you can easily customize what you share with your employees.

What do you like best about the product?
Adding security policies and diversity of training materials are so great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The phishing feature requires more attention. Single user creation also need improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a part of ISO27001 implementation in our organisation. We use it to provide different level of security awareness and also publish security policies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a very helpful platform to increase the information security culture in the organisation. It helps to publish your security policies based on division's requirements. We had two external security audits in the last three month they both amazed by it too much.

Measure Phishing and Train to Reduce

What do you like best about the product?
Great price for what is included and can easily be set up once and just reviewed annually without becoming stale or predictable. Choosing a few groups of email templates and adding some extras from the community template gives a great range for KnowBe4 to randomly send different templates to different users each month. These chosen groups have templates added and removed all the time so you can be sure that the emails sent to users won't become stale or predictable. I particularly like the Social Networking, Reported Phishes of the Week and UK Current Events groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of templates and newsletters to find the right ones or best ones for your business but once set up you can leave it alone which is great. The training selection is also great but identifying which course or courses are best for your business can be a bit time consuming, I try to do this at least once a year or twice if possible as some courses are replaced annually and more are added all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improve our basic security awareness by running annual security awareness training to raise the basic level of security and IT knowledge within the business and measure how phish-prone our business is. We are also able to automatically enrol users in short reminder courses during the year when they become a clicker and fall victim to one of the test emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the free trial and test your prish-prone % this will allow you to justify the cost, which is very small and you'll soon be able to see the percentage decrease and can rest a little easier that the most common way of a business being compromised has been reduced.

Their content is very good, relevant and precise.

at this point there is nothing that I have disliked with KnowBe4.

Phishing awareness - we have seen a significant drop in users clicking on links within websites. We now have employees who are able to identify suspicious mails, and report them accordingly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended. Introduce this to your employees and they will love it.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s hard to describe what I like best, but here goes. Excellent training materials that are updated annually that are right on the point. The majority of the employees love the content. KnowBe4 strives to improve its content and services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can’t really think of anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance training and phishing training.

Great product at a superb price
