What do you like best about the product?
The video trainings have been an enormous help in training our end users about email safety.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downside at this time. We haven't had any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are training are staff to be more vigilant when they are checking there email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait to any longer. The sooner your users start training the safer your environment will be.

What do you like best about the product?
The training offerings are robust and relevant. The testing emails are very well-done and really boost user's knowledge. The support provided is top-notch. And the pricing is very affordable!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I would have signed up with KnowBe4 sooner!

With KnowBe4's Security Awareness Training, we are equipping our employees with the knowledge and skill set needed to prevent phishing attacks.

Makes Training Easy and Forces Interaction

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it forces user interaction, and the interaction type and the entire experience is highly customizable. It also makes it very easy on the user to manage all of their trainings and take them at their convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think nothing is ever perfect, but I have trouble coming up with anything I see that needs improvement from a users perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to have our employees complete mandatory trainings and also improve our IT security and phishing awareness of all employees in the Firm.

Educating the User Base

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about KnowBe4 is the construction of their training modules. The are designed to hold the trainees attention while providing the education they need to strengthen our security. Often a user will comment on how much fun a particular module was. But what I truly like is when a user finishes their training and makes a comment like "I didn't even know that" or "I can use this at home". Comments like these help reinforce that the training is actually getting through to them and not just being completed an exercise to be forgotten.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Administration module can be a bit cumbersome to navigate, but over all it is user friendly for the majority of administrative functions. For instance, when I tried to setup the PAB for our organization, I had to jump around the KnowBe4 site just to find the information on how to accomplish the configuration. When I finally went through all the steps, only some of the computers were able to utilize the PAB, while others were never configured. The installation should also include some troubleshooting tips for when it doesn't work, and some type of notification of misconfiguration would be nice. As it stands once the installation and configuration process is finished, the only way you know if your successful is for the PAB to show up on the user's Gmail account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue that KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has helped us solve it getting users to recognize potential malicious situations and security vulnerabilities. Before we started using KnowBe4, IT was in a completely reactive mode, cleaning up infected computers and performing damage control on accounts. Now, after only about a year with KnowBe4, the number of security incidents has dropped dramatically. Users are even questioning ill-written legitimate emails that they receive.

What do you like best about the product?
The one on one guidance, support, and checkup is the best part of their service.
What do you dislike about the product?
IT training topics are not a favorite, in general. The training application is easy to navigate but it's still a challenge to get employees to participate. This obviously isn't a criticism of Knowb4, it's the only negative I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using KnowBe4 to primarily train our users on recognizing phishing. It's caused all of our users to question any and all email that comes to them. I guess that's better than not questioning any of them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It offers solid training on phishing and other threat actor awareness. They use a combination of video, slides, and interactive media.

Great product and great support

What do you like best about the product?
It is great to have one system to plan and manage training, perform phishing campaigns and review suspicious emails reported by users. I also appreciate that they are always actively developing their products, adding features, improving workflow, etc.

And every time I have questions their support team is quick to respond and very helpful. I wish they could give lessons to the support teams at other vendors with whom we work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have had to date is that they developed their other systems in a way that does not feel the same as KMSAT, requiring mastery of two learning curves rather than one. However, I believe they are working on improving this now by increasing commonality across their multiple products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are dispelling the notion among our employees that we are not a target for threat actors. We are also discovering that our previous security posture was not as good as previously thought. Just the metrics gleaned from evaluating simulated phishing campaigns and reported emails has changed our view of security awareness as an organization. By improving upon our human firewall, we are now acting as a better informed participant in our own defense in the area of security awareness.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should plan to work with your account representative and ask a lot of questions. The representatives are very helpful and have access to subject matter experts who quickly join the conversation as needed.

Prepare to work with them as a business partner and not just a tool in your toolbox you pull out when needed.

Great for creating a security culture in your organization

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that KnowB4 has premade content that I can assign to team members for training. Their content is packed with useful information and really great examples to put risky security situations into context.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the experience for first time users. My new team members always have difficulties logging in for the first time or receiving their invitation emails. Once they're into the application, it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowB4 provided me with a way to actively train my team on cybersecurity practices and to test them on a regular basis to see if they are practicing that they learned. A benefit I've realized is that by seeing which users are, "risky," I'm able to better understand where our training can be improved and see what types of threats we are vulnerable to.

What do you like best about the product?
KB4 staff is proactive in calling my attention to new features and training material. They help me keep the experience fresh and interesting for our employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling training is a little complicated. Since I usually do it in batches, I have to refresh my memory on the correct process when I start a new batch. Not a huge challenge, but the one thing I think could use some improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have increased everyone's awareness of security and the importance of being vigilant. I receive positive feedback from senior management regarding the training material and the results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Get management buy in as you are implementing any security programs.
- Take advantage of the experience offered by KB4 staff when implementing your program.
- Promote the program within your organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you understand the interface, it is pretty easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a training campaign opens, you can not make any changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using KB4 to accomplish our annual required training, do Phishing tests, provide supplemental /non-required training as well a providing some "fun" training using their "Inside Man" series of short fun videos that provide learning in the form of a Netflix type of medium.
