Excellent Cybersecurity Awareness Training and Phishing Platform

What do you like best about the product?
Variety of training modules that continue to be updated; humor; quizzes, etc. Tremendous support for phishing campaigns and reporting
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much if anything at all, they continue to enhance their platform and be very responsive to support related inquiries
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
educating employees on malware, mobile device security, passwords, phishing (what to look out for), PII, basically everything under the sun with respect to cyber security

Amazing support on a great product

What do you like best about the product?
I am a small business without a lot of time to spend learning a new system and the customer success representative along with clear and straight forward documentation made it very easy to get my organization configured in just a couple of hours. I find the content in the training modules to be comprehensive and I like that it is available in a variety of tones. You can find serious material that you could use for remediation training and then funny content to keep your audience willing to sit through the training. You can tie the phishing results directly to a remediation campaign streamlining the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have only been using the training for a month and have not spent a lot of time looking through all the learning modules but finding the ones that best correspond to our company's culture while meeting the learning objectives can be time consuming. The customer success rep did make some suggestions and would probably be happy to go over all of them with me if I asked. I have some specific content that I am required to train on based on certain regulatory guidelines and I have not found how to add my own content but I have not spent much time looking either and have not contacted my customer success rep yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was doing training in person but as we went remote and schedules got more difficult to coordinate I found it hard to get sufficient training in. KnowBe4 gives me the ability to schedule training and let our employees complete it when it best fits their schedule. KnowBe4 also creates the artifacts that I need to demonstrate compliance for audits. I was also using a freeware phishing tool that took some effort to support and my team had to create the phishing content. KnowBe4 comes with a complete collection of phishing content organized from basic to sophisticated so you can challenge your most targeted users to ensure they don't get tricked.

Surprising Option for Compliance Training with LMS

What do you like best about the product?
Knowbe4 is an all-inclusive LMS that provides baseline testing for phishing, IT training, Compliance training, and a learning management system at an affordable price. We are able to add additional compliance pieces of training such as sexual harassment from the MOD store. This is invaluable as it is less training that must be built which saves time and money. In addition, there are 100 slots available for us to add our own training specific to our business. As a collections law firm, we must train on confidentiality, the fair debt collections practice act, and much more. We currently use iSpring to develop training in SCORM format which is easily added to Knowbe4's platform so we can initiate and track these trainings as well. We are looking forward to implementing training that is effective to aid in the remote learning process as a result of COVID-19. The account manager has been very helpful in designing a training program that will be effective for our business. There was an instance in the beginning that our account manager was out of the office and his backup was quick to get our issue handled so we did not miss our implementation goal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Knowbe4 is has a specific account manager, but it took time to get connected after we paid the initial contract fee. It took some time to figure out how to connect with Active Directory and the videos don't cover all the little hiccups we have encountered. Support has been great but it has taken over 2 weeks to get over the hurdles just to get the baseline test out. The biggest dislike is having to send an email to reach support or the account manager. It would be easier to call and hold, but that does not appear to be an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have client requirements that we can demonstrate training and testing for security awareness. We also have employees that are click-happy and it provides clear data on who are our high-risk individuals. In addition, these high-risk employees are easily siloed for frequent testing and training. Problem users must earn their way out of the "frequent-clicker" program. We have also learned that many employees are not going to IT with issues which slows reaction time down with a potential problem or breach. This allows us to focus on procedures to decrease vulnerabilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
LMS systems are very expensive. Knowbe4 is very affordable. We make it a goal to have a strong partnership between IT and HR. We have a focus on training and understanding how we can support operations. IT is supporting the business in the same fashion but from the information and technology side. Knowbe4 allows us to collaborate effectively. Both IT and HR are cost centers and not profit centers. Knowbe4 allows us to be budget conscious with an excellent, fresh, platform. It is easy to use for administrators and users. If you want your IT security training, compliance training, and operations processes to come together, Knowbe4 should be your LMS of choice.

An easy way to improve security

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way that everything is tracked, stats are easy to pull up and understand. I also like how easy it is to get started with training and phishing campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there's something to dislike about KnowBe4 I haven't found it yet. If I had to mention pick something to mention though, the log in screen, username is separate form the password screen, making it more secure but longer to log in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training end users about security is never ending and could be a full time job with enough employees in the company. KnowBe4 takes that daunting task and makes it easy. Testing what the end users have learned is made easy with phishing tests.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're holding your own training for end user security awareness KnowBe4 is a huge time saver, with high quality training and can make it light or professional.

Great Security Awareness Training and Phishing Testing services

What do you like best about the product?
I like the wide range of security trainings offered, the phishing testing, the integration with our directory and automatic enrollment for base training and additional training as phishing test are failed. Their support is also amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
not so much a dislike, but this is not a cheap service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Educating staff with engaging training. Prior to this it is very hard to educate staff on the many threats and tricks out there. We've seen a material reduction of staff clicking into phishing emails and have good baseline training that must be completed every year or two.

Efficient and Customizable Security Solution for Medium + Businesses

What do you like best about the product?
The features I like the most is the ability to sync KnowBe4 with Azure AD. With this feature it makes it much easier for me to manage the security of my users all in one place no matter if we add, remove, or edit users in our AD, it is all synced back to the KnowBe4 portal so I don't have to edit users in multiple places.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not anything I dislike about KnowBe4.. The only thing "bad" I would have to say, is that if you are dealing with anymore than a couple hundred users, it may get a little pricey. So I would suggest using this if you are a short-handed IT team in need of a more enhanced security solution that protects it's users from primarily phishing scams and when you would need to teach your users security concepts when it comes to a business setting. I've had KnowBe4 for about three months and have already seen a major change (for the better) in our vulnerability to cyber crime. My users are now more knowledgeable and can handle most situations themselves, and allows them to report any email they receive that they think may be malicious for me to review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems that I have been able to solve with KnowBe4 is training my users from the ground up. KnowBe4 offers, in my opinion, the best training services for a cyber-security awareness platform. They offer many training modules that you can then setup into campaigns based off of user determined criteria. Say for instance someone clicks on a simulated phishing email that you have setup within a phishing campaign. Well KnowBe4 allows you to setup "remedial training" for users that have been found to click on simulated phishing emails and automatically enrolls them in the training you choose. You can start at the ground and work your way all the way to the top, from the most basic security concepts and training modules to the most advanced. You will be able to teach your users and learn a bit more about cyber-security awareness yourself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice to anyone on the fence about KnowBe4 is to go ahead and make the leap, you won't regret it. KnowBe4 has helped our company tremendously in the past few months since we started rolling it out. I had no idea that I would see this amount of change for the better in such a short amount of time. We have reduced, not only the volume, but the clicks and openings of malicious email and cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the workspace. KnowBe4 does an amazing job in protecting your users from potential security risks and allows you to confirm or deny any assumption it makes. It will literally take emails that it's AI thinks is bad out of all users email, if it falls within the right criteria you set up, then send it to your KnowBe4 inbox for review using Virus Total. KnowBe4 also gives you tons of insight and analytics of your current roll out so that you can make any other changes outside of KnowBe4 to further enhance the security and experience. All around KnowBe4 is 10/10 in my book and I would recommend them to any small, medium, or larger side of medium business that has unexperienced users in terms of cyber-security awareness. The only thing I would have to say that would be considered "bad" is when you start to get more than a couple hundred users, it can get kind of pricey. However, most businesses of that size can afford it when you look at their capital..

Excellent and broad scope of training available.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes tracking training metrics easy. We know exactly who is not training for us to take action on. The phishing tests can be set to be very difficult to spot; it also gives you insight into who is a greater security risk so you can assess access limitations for that person. The broad base of topics means we can cover other training besides IT. Our employees find it easy to use and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
No way to make a direct auto updating connection between your organization's email and KnowBe4 without Azure P1/P2 level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have really opened some eyes regarding security and vulnerabilities of people in our organization.

Best training on the market coupled with outstanding support and start up training.

What do you like best about the product?
So many features we like. The Phish Alert button in Outlook, ability to query our Office 365 user mailboxes to remove Phish email. Love the engaging training library with lots of positive feedback from our users. They like some of the funny characters in videos while learning. Another excellent feature is ability to send fake phishing emails that are harmless but test what users have learned. This way you can concentrate learning to users that need additional training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of one thing I dislike about KnowBe4's security training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was always a pain to keep up with new hires and brining them up to speed. This makes this so much easier by assigning new hires to initial onboarding training. I now know which users need additional training based on their testing results. Biggest resolution is knowing who need additional training and where vulnerabilities exist. Without KnowBe4 training you don't really know your users ability to spot malicious email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is none better in my opinion. They cover all the bases for end users training and keep updated security testing related to recent events and attacks.

Comprehensive Security Training

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed how my service rep helped my set up our trainings and Phishing tests and then checked in with me on the results and guided me on how to improve. The dashboard is a great resource for ensuring that all employees are participating and for documenting their results so that they can improve. They also have a great variety of training modules. Instead of just a library of boring videos, there are games and interactive puzzles. They update their library every year so your users are not just doing the same modules over and over again. They also have trainings in multiple languages which is great for international companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike. Everything was easy to set up and the cost was reasonable. My only critique is that during the phishing test, knowbe4 used very old websites to 'trick' our users. The sites chosen were so out of date that users easily figured out that the emails were not legitimate without much effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our users hated HIPAA training. They said it was boring and covered what they already knew. KnowBe4 provided enjoyable, in-depth training. The phishing tests were a great way to remind our users to be vigilant online, especially as we work from home during covid.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend working with KnowBe4. They assist you from start to finish, the set up is easy, and the benefits to your staff are immeasurable. Security issues can be incredibly expensive so it is incredibly important to train your employees before incidents occur rather than after. The cost is totally reasonable especially considering how extensive their library is. I love the gamification of the security information. It ensures users are enthusiastically participating in your trainings. We follow HIPAA and their HIPAA trainings are great.
