Security awareness soars with KnowBe4
What do you like best about the product?
The support staff at KnowBe4, especially our customer success manager, have remained engaged and assisted us in implementing and driving adoption for security training.They've helped us setup campaigns, reviewed new features and made it easier for us to build timely security training that's relevant to mitigating the most common threats facing our staff and builds staff confidence and adoption not resentment.
It's easy to setup, administer and report within the platform. It's taken our security awareness to a new level with a very reasonable amount of effort.

What do you dislike about the product?
Since I have to pick something I"d say the vishing product. Its the least relevant or applicable to my environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're raising awareness by testing users with regular tailored email campaigns. We've seen a marked decrease in negative interactions with potentially malicious email. Staff are more aware about the potential for serious consequences and are more open to asking for help before acting on messages that may be "phishy". Our phish prone percentage has gone from about industry standard to less than 25% of industry standard.
The reporting is also great. We can quickly pull back and report on trends and improvements from the higher levels then quickly drill into individual users and their interaction history. this allows us to see the bigger threats and whos most likely to act on them. we can tailor our attention and resources to those issues and users that need it most.
Reporting through the phish alert button has been a huge success with staff.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Run the trial. See if it fits. If you choose to implement be sure to capture your staffs first campaign numbers, test regularly and if your like us you'll be amazed at how much they improve in a year. Also, be sure to check out the security training offerings. Many are very professionally produced, timely and funny. Our staff gets security education and they appreciate that it's high quality and, most importantly, brief.

Phishing training
Very good platform for security training awareness and simulated phishing

The online training is rather good and helps with compliance. The simulated phishing module helps reinforce what is learned.

Troubleshooting issues with false clicks in simulated emails tests is painful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to develop a more secure culture within our organization. Have seen greater awareness of social engineering

Overall it is a good platform with quality training and modules. Troubleshooting and support is lacking so make sure you do a trial first.
Must-have Tool for Small Business
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the large library of learning videos and other resources. I can create custom learning playlists and tailor them to the many types of users in the organization. The Phishing simulator function is such an effective way to innoculate user to Phishing emails. For example, the baseline test failed almost 70 percent of the organization. After the training videos and hands-on instruction on spotting fake emails, my failure rate dropped to zero! Now people in my organization come to me and say " I printed this email out because it looks suspicious, the return-to email URL was incorrect"
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I can say is the there is a large wealth of content available and choosing the writing curriculum or content can be challenging. I would like more assistance from account reps that are somewhat knowledgeable about my companies space
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the issue of information leakage and protection of the network. We have reduced our failure rate from 70 percent to 0 percent in less than 4 weeks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you ask your account POC to help craft a training curriculum based on your industry. This will make implementation and training much faster

What do you like best about the product?
Phishing and Training Campaigns are easy to setup. Training modules are professionally made, covering a variety of topics. Customers support is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find most of the phishing templates would not work for me out of the box, which makes automated phishing test useless. I'm not saying they are not realistic, I think they are. Some of the templates can be used as a good starting point to build convincing, industry specific templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using KnowBe4 for annual cyber security training, new employee on-boarding if I'm available, as well as random phishing test. The last Phishing Campaign has successfully caught most user's attention, which is great!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
KnowBe4 does an excellent job supporting its users. Take advantage of that.
Those online training modules, videos and games are great tools for training users. It also provide flexibility for both the users and administrators. Having said that, I find it not as effective as an in person training session, especially when your goal is to raise cyber security awareness. I think many of the resources will yield the best result if used in an organized setting with some follow up Q&A, if possible.

Found the service very helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like that my users are now afraid to open most unknown email because they are worried that I am "trying to trick them". Many users have pointed out how they delete emails because of the information they have seen in the training sessions that they were required to complete
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is that some users that have completed the training were still showing up as incomplete. If I understand things correctly it is because they closed the browser too soon but it is frustrating when users are calling to say they are being notified to complete sessions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am getting a better way to teach my users some safety practices. I find that when we tell them something or we send an email that it isn't taken as seriously as it should. KnowBe4's system makes them listen more.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool has been great for keeping all of our employees and the same page. Housing all of our policies and training in one place, with records of who has reviewed what...this has made training and audit validations a breeze. And it has been a repository of additional training and support for security trainings that our clients require.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure there is a ton that I am dissatisfied with. This tool seems to get the job done for what we need. There could be more robust configuration options. But it does handle quite a lot of policies and campaigns from our side.

We used to have a mess of policies spread all over various drives and folders. Training and updating on those policies only happened in reaction to audits or client requirements. We were always chasing after things to get caught up.

Knowbe4 provide a lot of information to protect the company in running their business.
The feature give a lot of information for every user to know more about security in IT industry, especially in their daily job, like receiving email, phone call, etc, they will know more about SPAM, Malware, DOS, Virus, fraud call, etc. So staff who do not have knowledge about it, they will aware. If they receive email, they can decide whether the email is SPAM or not.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don not have any dislike from Knowbe4 feature.
May be the 1st time when we want to install some of the feature, it take some time for us, but luckily they have a good customer services who can help us.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important is the SPAM email, some time for old staff that don not have any knowledge about IT, they will automatically open the unsecured email, but after they do the training with knowbe4, now they are more aware, some time they still check with me the IT staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Knowbe 4 can add more training lesson, may be every week or month, so we can regularly have our training.
The more training the company do, the more knowledge the staff have.
So it will be more secure for the business it self.
Because most of the virus or spam, came from the employee who don't have any knowledge about it. They just anyhow open the email that they received, without think about it.

Excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
To initially setup everything on your is not easy, but their account managers will very patiently help you set all your options quickly and painlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the system, but it does require you to check on things regularly to see who's clicking, who's not completing courses, etc. It can be done fairly quickly, but it is one more thing to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have a lot of users who would fall for even the most simple phishing scams; we've lowered our rate of 'clickers' significantly.
Great training tool for email security
What do you like best about the product?
Phishing and training campaigns are extremely easy to set up. Onboarding sppecialist has been very helpful. There is plenty of online help available as well. Very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing we have run across in KnowBe4 that we dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working at better educating our user community about suspicious email. Our baseline test with knowbe4 proved that we have a way to go, but the available training is helping us bring our risk score down.
