Security awareness has improved through user training while text message support is needed
What is our primary use case?
I deploy Novo4 to customers for the benefit of security awareness training for their users. I simulate email phishing campaigns that intrigue the end user to make mistakes as far as phishing attempts go. I put in links that they're not supposed to click on. When they do, I get alerted, report on that, and send additional training on how to be more aware.
What is most valuable?
The ability to have business leadership be aware of their users' security posture as well as any kind of security awareness training being pushed by cybersecurity insurance and underwriters is valuable. It mitigates risk quite a bit for our users. I use it to educate the staff more directly on the risks of phishing attempts.
What needs improvement?
I would like to see Novo4 expand to other channels outside of emails to things such as text messages.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have had experience with Novo4 for six months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I think the solution is quite stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I just add users by entering their email addresses and send them the awareness training. It's a great solution in terms of scalability.
How are customer service and support?
I find the customer service and support to be very responsive.

How was the initial setup?
I don't do the setup. I am just in sales, so I am not familiar with the setup process.
What was our ROI?
I find that it mitigates risk quite a bit for our users.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution is very well priced and very affordable. It's about five dollars a seat per month.
What other advice do I have?
I rated the solution seven out of ten due to its ease of use, effectiveness, scalability, and cost.

What do you like best about the product?
The variety of topics is broad, however we only use a small set of them. The user interface is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The requriement to add TXT files to our DNS servers to enroll users. We support many businesses with our KB4 training, but this requirement makes new clients coming on board difficult.
Also, we really miss not being able to create our own quizzes or add our own content to a training course. Because of this, we also have a subscription with a competitor that does not have such limitations.
Also, the reporting is difficult becuase everything has to be downloaded as a CSV. I woudl like a broader range of reports built in.

What do you like best about the product?
There's an expression, I think could be reattributed to KnowBe4. Shallow enough for a child to swim in, but deep enough to drown an elephant. KnowBe4 can be as complex, or as simple as you'd like. It easily caters to organizations of any size. Implementing new campaigns or training programs is a breeze. Now, after purchasing Egress email security, KnowBe4 has advanced integration with an additional email protection suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few downsides to KnowBe4, and that is primarily centered on the GUI. It often takes multiple clicks to get to a menu. KnowBe4's console would greatly benefit from reduced clicks, adding to the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No body likes cybersecurity awareness training - let's face it. That's the reality. KnowBe4 aims to solve that by creating engaging training for our users. They can interact with training courses, or watch cybersecurity-minded programming and content on the platform.
Good platform to provide security trainings
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 is our main tool for security awareness trainings, used by everyone in the company, when they join, during phishing campaigns or refreshers. The training marketplace, segmented by area or internal team on the company is very handful, making it easier to select trainings that make sense for each team. It was easy to implement and the integration with Drata is a perfect-fit for us. So far we had minimal interactions with the support team, all of them good enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
For training campaings without time fixed to finish, when all users finish the trainings, the campaign is finished, forcing the administrators to create new campaigns when there are new joiners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As part of requirements of SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001, KB4 is helping us to achieve this requirement by integrating perfectly with Drata.
The automated phishing campaigns also make us aware of people that are prone to this attack vector, making us to work on it.

Report generation is a bit clumsy and the dashboard should have more customizable options.

Great platform to train your employees on security awarness
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that the training is up-to-date and interactive. Also, their newsletter are beneficial, and I try to read each one of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I think it is straight forward platform.

Keeping your employees up to date is hard, especially if you want to keep your company's security compliance. KnowB4 makes it easy and intuitive.
Excellent product that has improved our security posture
What do you like best about the product?
We use the KnowBe4 library of courses to train our employees on yearly basis. The primary course we use every year is updated by KnowBe4 to reflect recent hacking trends. We also use other courses as refreshers for our employees, and we have great feedback for the "Inside Man
We also use the test phishing campaigns monthly to see if our users have an understanding of how to be secure. Our scores have massively improved since we intially obtained the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find User Adminstration and assigning of permissions to be more convulted than it needs to be.
The reporting component could be improved as well as we need to do a bit of work to get the reports to look they way we need

Great product with a large selection of training videos
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of training videos with options on just about every subject you'll need, with an option to download videos to add to your own LMS!

There are really no downsides, everything is very customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 helps our users learn about common phishing attacks. The amount of users who get their email password compromised due phishing attacks has dropped significantly.
Good in a pinch
What do you like best about the product?
It was very good to be able to quickly pull training resources together from their large library very quickly.
We reviewed many services before we committed to buying one, and not only did KnowBe4 look better than the alternatives, their price was lower too.
The amount of support they give you both during pre-sales and assistance after you buy is second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
Content a bit outdated in places, and because there's many video containing multiple topics, you end up with duplicated content in your courses.
User group management isn't very user friendly.

We needed an easy to set up solution that we could get up and running quickly to fulfil requirements for one of our clients.
