It just works!
What do you like best about the product?
Creating campaigns to test user awareness works great and is a great compliment after KnowBe4's video training. Having the ability to automatically have users be added to their respectful groups when creating new users helps with reducing the amount of micro managing required. Scam of the week newsletters are great reminders to forward along to other end users and to keep track of the newest trends in between awareness training and training campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating email templates to forward to end users sometimes do show up differently on mobile devices than they do in email clients such as Outlook. A mobile only template option would be a nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 solves the problem of myself needing to train end users on security awareness because of their great video training. It also helps keep track of "repeat clickers" to understand who needs further training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the time it takes to train end users through Power Point slides and the ability to track down end users and who showed up to the large learn sessions, and you'll quickly realize how much easier it is to rely on the tool for all your training needs. Automatically sending traning to new users who join the company helps reduce the micro managing required of training initiatives. Creating new template emails is a breeze, and community shared templates helps give you ideas of what new trends to use for internal campaigns.
Absolutely great product!
What do you like best about the product?
IT is just one of the hats I wear so I don't have a lot of free time. KnowBe4 has been so easy to use that I have been able to take advantage of all they offer without it every feeling like a burden. It is so well thought out that there always seems to be a detailed instruction or video available to answer my questions. The customer support is top notch as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I dislike. I could say it isn't free but for all that you get it is a smoking value. But to answer the question, the email phishing templates that are available do have lots of very similar types so it does make searching through them more time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small company who never really thought of ourselves as a target of cyber criminals. We learned a hard lesson earlier this year and have had to make a lot of changes to how we operate. KnowBe4 has been key component because it helps us shore up our last line of defense.
A large variety of information security awareness training!
What do you like best about the product?
There are different style types of training available on KnowBe4 - from games to comedic training videos. I also like the episodic trainings that they offer. The short episodic trainings have pretty good acting and are entertaining to watch. The recap of the information security topics at the end of each episode is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few items that can be improved in KnowBe4. 1. Quizzes should have the ability to review incorrect answers. 2. The new user set up is a bit clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of the staff members noted that previous trainings were very similar and repetitive. KnowBe4 allowed us to present diverse information security awareness training to our staff. The automatic notifications allowed us to spend less time manually notifying employees when training is due.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
KnowBe4 has various vendors supplying the training modules, so at times the trainings presented can seem like they don't fit into similar style. On the other hand, the different styles of trainings does keep the material more interesting.
Cornerstone of a corporate awareness and security procedure
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use in getting a baseline security training program in place is exceptional. This can then be incrementally improved and customized based on requirements. It's all easily managed at a management level without a large time requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The phishing testing component does throw false positives fairly regularly; I'm often getting reports from users saying they didn't click on anything but still registered as failed. It's a small price to pay, but still can be a nuisance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing security knowledge and awareness across the team. As a fintech company, we needed to ensure that our staff had a stronger security baseline, especially around email (phishing). This has the added benefit of being an easy solution to requirements for compliance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The online tutorials and training are very solid, take the time to go through their training and understand the basics, it makes everything else very simple.
Good training and practice for our employees
What do you like best about the product?
The regular phishing tests have really helped our employees get better at spotting suspicious emails. I also like the fact that if an employee fails a test, I can automatically setup training for that employee to review so they understand the importance of not being click happy. There are also a number of training videos that are short and to the point for employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take time to come up with more realistic tests for our company. I have run several personalized tests against our company and they have been very enlightening but it takes time to come up with something that is good when this is only a small part of my job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had significant issues with employees opening emails that they shouldn't. Since we have been using this product, the security issues have significantly decreased.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should take the time to set this up right to start with. You should start by working with management on what this can and cannot do. Work with them to setup appropriate training for new employees as well as existing employees and employees that open, click or otherwise interact with fake emails. Then run some baseline phishing tests against your organization. Then implement the training and run more tests. Keep running tests on a regular basis. Periodically come up with some custom ones to your organization.

What do you like best about the product?
It was pretty easy to configure my first training. My representative was knowledgeable enough to walk me through the platform. ADSync helps to sync users with my AD environment.You can start with simple module and go to more advance one. You can use posters, games, newsletters,etc
What do you dislike about the product?
It take me bit of the time to configure phish alert button for GSuite. I need to involve Google support to troubleshoot the issue and finally I was able to put it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My users become more knowledgeable about all type of phishing, spear-phishing, spoofing e-mail that company receive on daily basis. The know thinking before clicking on suspicious links.

Easy to implement and more than 900 different training video modules on huge variety of different topics.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been amazed at the depth of training information available from KnowBe4.
The variety of ways to test your employees is also amazing. They have some awesome templates that are very customizable to use for phish testing your employees to make it as tempting as possible.
Automatic remedial training for employees who fall for a phishing test simplifies administration greatly and we can see the progress (good or bad) our employees are making.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest quirk I've found is when an employee completes training, the dashboard doesn't always reflect that the employee has finished. I think this is happening because the employee is simply closing out the training when they finish (or think they've finished) and don't exit gracefully at the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our baseline phishing test reveals a very disappointing 60+ % failure. After the initial round of training, subsequent phishing tests have dropped that down to below 5%.
Time will tell as we continue to test our employees with a wide variety of phishing styles whether they maintain that level. Automatic release of monthly update training (along with weekly email tips) will hopefully keep it in their minds.

The results are better than I expected. Even the demos don't give you a full grasp of the level of tools they provide. Worth every penny.

The ability to view and have data and feedback on the safety and status of our phishing safety

There is not much i dislike, it had been a great product, fairly easy to use and set up and monitor.

We are providing phishing training and monitoring.

I would highly recommend know be 4. It is easy to use and provide great insight and training for our organization.

I like the ability to setup training campaigns for multiple months, and to add follow up training for clickers.

Some of the setup in the phishing campaigns is not crystal clear.

Our users have learned to be more careful by investigating emails before they click, forward, or reply.

We started working with KnowBe4 while we were in the middle of a breach. We were able to easily get a training campaign up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
End users expect a simpler process to get into training. KnowBe4 requires them to set up an account. We're going to use a good deal of KnowBe4 training, so I think as training continues people are going to find it easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently in the middle of our first round of training. I've had a surprising number of people give me positive input on the training. I'm looking forward to sending trial phishing emails out.
