KnowBe4 end-user awareness and phishing mitigation
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 creates employee awareness around phishing and other targeted attacks which they would otherwise fall victim to.
What do you dislike about the product?
PhishER should be part of the paid KnowBe4 suite. We utilize the PAB; however, the report e-mail simply goes into a black hole. We have limited staff, so we can't follow-up on every reported e-mail. At the very least the price should be dropped significantly for existing customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our click rate has dropped substantially. We started at approximately 25% and after 5-6 months, it has dropped to somewhere between 3-4%. This means that our employees now look at every e-mail as potentially suspicious which helps with overall mitigation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are on the fence about purchasing this product (as I was), I can tell you with 100% certainty that it quickly and easily creates end-user awareness, and as a result will significantly lower your risk potential and subsequently reduce your attack surface.
Excellent Security Training program
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 is always adding more content and more content providers. The ability to have dynamic groups based on user interactions is also very helpful. In other words the users that keep clicking on the phishing test emails get more phishing tests to help them detect bad emails. Also, we are able to download the training courses and upload them into our current Learning Management Software and the employees are able to continue to use the learning management software they are familiar with to do their security trainings as well. Although the KnowBe4 console does a great job of tracking the trainings and ability to assign trainings without any additional software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a customer success manager that was non-responsive for about a month or so. But all the other ones have been great. Seems like they would respond in less than a one business day and even got a list of recommended courses to use for initial training and refresher trainings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to decrease the amount of real phishing emails that are being interacted with by our employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Put the time in to pick trainings to send out to your employees. Your customer success manager will also help guide you to relevant training courses. High quality training and phishing test platform. With features and content being refreshed frequently.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to implement, well written help guides for initial configuration, very involved success manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is that the initial Phish freaked out a few end users, which isn't necessarily bad as they did report it.

Almost Everything You Could Want
What do you like best about the product?
Their support. Anytime we have a problem or question we can always call up and get someone on the line almost instantly. What's even better is those people actually help us with our problems. We actually get the same people each time we call and they seem to remember who we are and what we're trying to do. We don't have to explain things as completely every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of ability to modify the training materials or even upload / create our own materials. We would love to use the platform as a training website as much as a phishing test. There are some ways to get around this but it isn't ideal or complete. We would also like the ability to assign reporting admins who can oversee their specific campaigns and only those campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We picked up KnowBe4 because it was so cheap and we were not doing any phishing tests at the time. We quickly adapted KnowBe4 to be our complete training platform for the agency. Right now training is just as important to us as the phishing part is and it's great to be able to see who completed what and how long it took them to do it. Checks a lot of compliance boxes for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Allow us to create our own training materials with much greater ease, modify the materials you already have in place, and designate users to be campaign creators or at least reviewers of campaigns without having to make them full admins. We would love to assign users in every department the ability to create training materials specific for their department in order to satisfy specific goals. Right now the only way to do that is to make them global admins.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about KnowBe4 is that is completely automates a core responsibility of mine - I just set it and forget it! I can think of no other tool I use that provides as much value for such low maintenance and cost. With AD sync, auto-recurring phish tests, and automated training enrollment, I rarely have to spend my valuable time administering KnowBe4, yet my users are constantly being kept on their toes with phish tests, and if they fail a test, they are being reminded of their responsibility to be always mindful of threats and how to keep themselves and the organization safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike nothing about KnowBe4. I just hope it remains an affordable service as it is currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings so much awareness of the social engineering threat to our organization. Social engineering is THE number one attack vector for cyber-threats. Phish-testing is a critical, effective defense against it, and KnowBe4 makes me look great to upper management. As an I.T. leader at my organization, I would not be doing my job if I were not training and phish-testing our users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
KnowBe4 is a a bargain and a no brainer! Social engineering is the number one attack vector for cyber-threats and phish-testing is a critical, effective defense against it. As an I.T. leader at my organization, I would not be doing my job if I were not phish-testing and training our users.
Excellent Cyber Training For Businessess
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 has helped all of employees be more alert when it comes to cyber security. Employees are much more cautious when it comes to opening unrecognized emails. The training is very informative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that highest package has the most content but it would be nice to have a few more games on the lower end packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employees are much more aware of the potential risks that come from opening unknown emails and browsing the web. We have been able to find some vulnerability with our employees with the phishing emails being sent out every month. The general sense of cyber awareness is better throughout our company.
Product has been exactly what we needed.

Easy to setup and select training. timely with current events.

I don't really have any negatives. Maybe configuring the email.

Security Awareness Training requirement for employees
KnowBe4 Keeps my team on their toes!
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to administer & manage. Sales reps are actually helpful, wanting to ensure I'm taking full advantage of my existing solution, rather than just sell something. It's also a great value for the price.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints. This solution is much easier to administer than any of the other solutions I evaluated and I looked into about a dozen. I don't have to create each test (like some solutions require) and the emails they send are quite convincing. I'm able to schedule it so that everyone receives unique messages at staggered times, making them even harder to detect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 effectively keeps my team on their toes and hyper-vigilant to detect & avoid phish mail. When someone falls for a phishing exercise, the refresher training is on point. As the administrator, I can see the communication they fell for and adjust our internal training accordingly.
Invaluable tool to keep keep users up to date on security
What do you like best about the product?
KB4 is extremely easy to use customize and configure. Great customer service and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more detailed and customizable reporting. Ideally and API that would allow us to connect with PowerBI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping users up to date with security training. The phishing and vishing tests are also great.
Pretty Pleased
What do you like best about the product?
They have great support. All of their employees are very responsive. The training was quick and easy. The software is also pretty intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our employees have had trouble getting the phish alert button to show up. I think it depends on their computer settings and the browser they are using and that's hard to regulate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employees are better trained and more aware of the risks of phishing emails.
