KnowBe4 Helps Educate Employees
What do you like best about the product?
Security Awareness Training courses are a key part of educating our employees. The content of the material stays current and our employees find them interesting as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike as the flexibility of the modules help us tune each training and test campaign we run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall data security awareness has heightened due to the KnowBe4 training, tests and, tools we use.
Easy to Implement Security Awareness Training + More
What do you like best about the product?
Support has been pretty good in helping us craft phishing tests that work for our user base. And the options and customizability of the phishing tests is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The management console has a lot going on and it can take a little while to find what you need sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We originally signed up for KnowBe4 to satisfy our annual security awareness training requirement. The ability to run phishing campaigns was definitely a bonus. Now we also have our new employees going through sexual harassment training using KnowBe4 which was an added bonus.
Best Solution for Phishing awareness
What do you like best about the product?
As an administrator, it is extremely easy to setup and customize. There is basically a step by step of what to setup and how to do it for every task you must complete. Active directory integration, SSO, and email white-listing setup (to get past our spam filters) was a breeze and works flawlessly. Once everything is setup and working, I just follow the included calendar from the 'ASAP' tab on what to do and when to complete it. It is very idiot-proof. It even includes nicely written templates for emails to send out to your organization. Reporting is great as well. After our employees are aware of what is going on, it is almost like a game for me to customize the emails that go out to try to challenge them. I send the HR phishing emails to HR, facebook and other social media phishing emails to the younger employees, Shipping notifications to front desk, etc. The employees use the outlook integrated PAB or phish alert button to spot the phishing. Overall it is a very well polished system with many features. From and IT administrator standpoint, KnowB4 and Zoom have been my favorite two integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about KnowB4. My only complaint to date is that the PAB or phish alert button integrated into outlook triggers 'This add-in caused outlook to start slowly' message when first starting outlook. My average delay is .8 seconds. Not a dealbreaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get a lot of spam and phishing emails. Our employees have become leaps and bounds better at spotting them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Amazing product. I believe they offer a trial. If you do not have phishing testing for your company, I can highly recommend it. I have not tried other solutions out, but I know that Gartner Magic Quadrant recognizes KnowBe4 as the leader.
Excellent 'Ready to go' 'phish pond' and staff education system.
What do you like best about the product?
We invested in KnowBe4 roughly a year ago to assess and monitor our staff's ability to identify Phishing and Spear Phishing emails. We were very quickly able to establish baseline and then with introduction or awareness training and the Phish Alert Button we were able to decrease our Phish-Prone rate within our company by 0ver 90%
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it extrodinarily frustrating not to be able to edit the content of training campaigns that are in flight. For example we have a continuously running new hire training campaign, but it is endlessly frustrating and an administrative mire, when I need to update that content, as I am forced to create a new campaign instead of just augmenting the existing one. This is the only major stumbling block I've run into with this solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is solving our general security awareness training, as well as dept specific training and annual refreshers. There is a wealth of great training collateral in many forms, Videos, papers, poster and games to check my staff engaged.
Additionally the Phish Alert Button is a huge asset, I wish it work in shared exchange mailbox too, but we are working around that.
Phish ER is very intriguing, but it only operates on data from the PAB, this needs to to examining email and flagging it BEFORE it gets to the user, at that point the tools will have a truly significant ROI for SNOCs

Sharp decline in clicks on Phishing links.
What do you like best about the product?
My users went from a 36% click rate to a >3% rate in 2 months. We are spearphished on a regular basis and we haven't had a reported security incident in nearly 3 years.
What do you dislike about the product?
User complaints about training, they claim not to have the time and insist that they be removed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest solution was the amount of click thru's we had on scam emails. Knowbe4 has reduced this to ~2%. the greatest benefit is I can sleep at night knowing that I'm not going to be waking up to a phone call that we were hacked or how do we get the money back that was wired yesterday.

Increase your security at the front lines in a fun way
What do you like best about the product?
Knowbe4 has a very comprehensive program that takes a little bit to get all setup but their account reps are very patient and walked me through the whole thing. Very professional and personal service. Using Knowbe4, my worry a user will open something they shouldn't is slowly being reduced. My account rep checks in on my now and then and guides me through any new things I may have missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is a challenge is remembering how to configure a new campaign and successfully run it. They have always helped me set one up but I don't do it often enough to remember how to complete it myself. But, that's more of a problem with me, than it is with Knowbe4. I think it would be helpful if there was a wizard to guide you from beginning to end setting up and updating your campaigns and reviewing results. It always takes me a little bit to click around and find what I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Slowly the mindset of click first and ask questions later is being overturned with automatic suspicion of anything they receive that looks a little off. It's wonderful. Even some users I thought would be a big challenge are doing quite well. Some of the users that failed the tests and had to go through the training are getting suspicious about any e-mails that look the slightest bit off and they ask me if I'm trying to catch them again. Objective, accomplished.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait. You're one click away from disaster. Test your users and see where you stand. You will probably be surprised. Don't rely on firewalls and antivirus software to stop this type of threat. You will likely be surprised at how many of your users will fail at first... and some will fail more than once. Better to fail these tests than a real phish or ransomware. Consider what it will cost to clean up the mess if you get compromised compared to the cost of this tool.

Would like to see more email templates, and better training videos (with a bit less royalty free clip art).

KnowBe4 helps me find the weak spots in employee training, before it becomes a problem.

What do you like best about the product?
The product is good, but the support is even better. The KnowBe4 team is totally invested in helping you implement the product to get the most for your money. My rep, Ashley Fox, has been fantastic. She has helped me streamline our training and make it so that I don't have to touch it regularly to keep campaigns going.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have had is with the product being used on smartphones. I tell people that it is recommended to do training from a PC, but people continuously try to do these from the phone and usually have issues.

Accessing training via a smartphone. Benefits are that people are more aware of what to look for and are more careful than they were a few years ago.

Service is excellent and staff seem to really care about their mission. They follow up with me when I am not running a campaign - just to check in.

The staff are super friendly and easy to work with.

We are still pretty new to the product, but so far we don't have any issues.

We are trying to test and educate our staff, to improve the entire organizations digital security.

What do you like best about the product?
The support staff's hands on approach. They call with suggested trainings and walk me through setting it up.

I haven't found anything that I dislike about them yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training our users to pay attention to incoming emails that look suspicious, and not to be as click happy. Most users find this training useful, not only at work, but at home as well.
