Top Customer Service and Search
What do you like best about the product?
If all your photos are tagged and properly arranged, the search function is very efficient for quick photo identification. The customer service has been extremely patient and helpful during our transition. The ability to include an image in more than one folder without duplicating the file is also extremely beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving from one system to another is always a laborious process and I wish Canto had helped more, but it's understandable that we set up our system the way we need it to function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Photo search and availability, easy to navigate and share with external audiences

Canto provides a tool for sharing files and ideas with team members across several locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The file organization and search are adequate but could be more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many marketing teams are able to share files easily, in various file formats. We are working much more efficiently.
Meets our needs to customized sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customized permissions, portals and customized file structure options. The sharing capabilities are key for us as we need to share different information with specific groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see better data and reporting for Canto portals. Right now it's hard to differentiate whether the views are coming from a specific portal or the main library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto solves a problem for us on how to securely store and organize digital assets. We store all of our product imagery, employee headshots, videos, artwork and brand files on Canto and share these with different groups of people both internally and externally.

We're still figuring this out ourselves! :)
Intuitive Digital Assets Management
What do you like best about the product?
Can store any file type, can preview most file types.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow user interface. Browsing a large set of images is tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating all approved photographic resources into a easily accessible platform with robust search features.
Requests from outside users have been greatly reduced.

Good tool for distributing approved content. Not so great for culling a great number of images from photographers.
Game Changer for Creative and File Management
What do you like best about the product?
We have a lot of creative, spanning from raw image files to full-on ad campaigns. Being able to use tags, which are easily searchable, has been a HUGE time saver. Being able to crop, resize and compress images before downloading make our life a lot easier. I personally really like the Branding Guidelines feature; we can share it with our partners and it's a very clean and simple experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning. There are a LOT of customization options in the backend and it takes practice and diligence to become proficient at it. But it's worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Things are much better organized now. We have a proper system in place and we know everything is filed and stored where it should. Most importantly we know we can find everything quickly and efficiently.
Great collaboration Tool and Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to collaborate with team members and share assets between teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a connector for Affinity Designer.

Ability to easily access creative assets easily and in an organized way.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto's administration tools are awesome and allow users to easily be managed with regards to rights/privileges. User sign ups are quite easy as the user can self register.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve with regards to mass tagging. But, with that being said, once you understand the concept behind meta-tagging in bulk, it makes for a very powerful tool. If you're a decent excel user, you should be fine when it comes to this task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal storage confusion has complete gone away. Now, our small team has a single source for digital assets with numerous ways to finding the resource in need. Time isnt being wasted and frustration levels are greatly reduced. Plus, our external stakeholders are becoming more and more self-reliant when harvesting digital properties.
Quick, easy to use repository
What do you like best about the product?
I love the search functionality. It's super quick and easy to find the assets I need. Also, the share links are awesome. Everything is very user friendly.
I love how you can create share links and toggle their settings. Now, we can share videos with clients and not worry about them downloading the videos. This is also much quicker for everyone. The client can watch the video on a web browser, instead of having to download it, and depending on the video size, this can take quite some more time.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could quickly share "My Collections" with anyone, like create a shareable link to a collection, instead of having to select all the assets within a collection and then creating a share link.
I wish you could more easily share groupings of assets with other folks.
I wish some of the tools were more readily available. For example, I have to select an asset, then the select all button will appear, so I need to make 2 clicks to select everything, when I wish it could be 1.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We created a repository with our best creative assets, tagged in many ways, so that many teams can find the assets they need quickly. We're realizing that if we can get as many videos into Canto as we can, the possibilities are limitless.
I think My Collections are very useful. Now, everyone can make their own personal selections of their favorite assets, and they can make different selections for each situation. A collection for a meeting on a certain ad placement, a selection for a client pitch, etc.

Easy to use and simplifies our team's workflow accessing assets

The UI/UX experience could be improved nominally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the challenge of having to find specific assets in proposals, pitches, and presentations. Canto simplifies that across our team.

We reviewed several options, and Canto was easily the best.
Best Digital Assets Mgmt Platform Ever!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of accessibility of your companies assets whether in a conference room, computer or phone. And the permissions you can customized per user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to delete within the shared collections section and the time it takes to upload videos. The system times out sometimes for the videos to load. And when you click on images to make them bigger they are pixelated while the videos are nice and crisp when you play them within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Share-ability and search-ability - it frees up valuable work time and provides a great tool for ALL of our companies different departments.
