Valuable tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use while in the platform is nice

Uploading and tagging is a bit of a hassle

We use it as a photo-sharing service and as a way to get photos from the field that we don't usually get access to
Best Digital Asset Management tool we could find in the market
What do you like best about the product?
A very user-friendly tool with lots of customization options, which helped us tailor the platform to our particular needs. The integrations they offer were a key element for making the purchase decision. The automatized features translated into a relatively simple implementation process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some additional integrations would be very useful, for example, with online design tools or sales enablement tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a global company operating in more than 50 countries. All our marketing and content is centralized and produced in one of our main offices. We needed a tool that could help us organize all our assets and make them available for all teams within the company in our offices all around the world.
Canto is Great!
What do you like best about the product?
It is clearly structured and all functions are easy to spot and use.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX design is plain and unfortunately you cannot open word or excel files directly using Canto Connect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto was extremely easy to implement into our business. Previously, we stored all of our photos/videos/files on the shared drive, external hard drives and servers. Canto has allowed us to ensure all employees who require access to digital assets have access to them with different permission groups. We really like the convenient options for sharing files with external stakeholders, especially the sharing link. It eliminates the need to upload files to dropbox and worry about storage issues.

What do you like best about the product?
We implemented this product for the management of our stock photography in terms of searchability and licensing, which we wanted to also make available for a large number of our team members across the country. Setup was very easy, and we are receiving everything we expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin navigation could sometimes be a bit more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidation of large amounts of stock imagery and licensing, as well as company brand standards and assets.

What do you like best about the product?
I love this platform's capabilities for storage, organization, and sharing a high volume of high-res photos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I dislike about this platform; I have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto makes it really easy to share photos. Within the Marketing department, we frequently need photos for print materials in marketing, for the website, and for numerous other uses, so we rely on this platform heavily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend Canto for any organization or department which needs to be able to store a large number of high-res photos. Canto makes it really easy to download, share, and organize photos. I really have no complaints; it has been a great platform and it makes everyone's lives easier in the Marketing department!
Just the right fit
What do you like best about the product?
This was our first experience using a DAM and we are very impressed with the capabilities. It's been easy to find, tag and share photos across the college. I also appreciate the native editing tools and social media integration that makes social posting easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Canto is infinitely configurable, it can get away from your team quickly and become a disorganized mess. It's important to have strong external governance. If this is to be used in a large organization, having someone dedicated to the resource would be beneficial, or at least a work group dedicated to hygiene.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since this is the first time our organization has used a DAM, we are much better able to share our archive of photos across the college, which is important when you have an archive that dates back years. Having that content visible makes collaborating with other departments much easier.

Canto is a useful tool if you have high-resolution images to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search term isn't easy to use. hope it can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps when you need to see many images together since it shows high-resolution images at once.
On Line Tutorials
What do you like best about the product?
On Line tutorials make it easy to learn and do at your own pace. Easy to reference when you need to review your knowledge. Sales rep was very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little service support from live bodies. Makes customer service feel distant.

Needed to consolidate all of our assets in one place from hundreds!
Canto excellent DAM
What do you like best about the product?
Canto has a LOT of features to better filter and organize your assets. It has great visual display and its easy to share assets with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canto can be a bit complicated, be sure to take the training sessions and think how you will implement Canto before jumping in. Portals could be worked on to provide better customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed Canto since we had 600,000+ assets to manage and share with the team. Canto visually displays all your assets and it's easy to share!
Canto has changed our lives - for the better!!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's easy to use - very intuitive. I also like that it's cloud-based and didn't require any integration with IT. I do like that it integrates with the Adobe Creative Suite, which makes our job a lot easier. The uploads are easy, keywording and tagging are easy, and searches are fruitful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Up to this point, I haven't found anything that I dislike with the product. Onboarding was a bit bumpy because of scheduling issues, but we got through it and are enjoying the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We will be saving a TON of time doing searches for assets when requested by other departments. We will also have everything neatly organized in one spot, as tags and keywords help us to "cross-save" items - eliminating duplicate assets across multiple folders.
