Great organizational tool for the team
What do you like best about the product?
We love using Canto because it makes organizing all of our media files easy. We used to outsource a lot of work because we were a very small team and it got overwhelming having to dive into email to find different Google Drives, WeTransfers, Dropboxes, etc. to find the things we needed. We've since grown our team significantly and onboarding them has never been easier as far as assets go. Assets are tagged and filed, making them super easy to find, resize, download, share - you name it. I can also control who sees what and what is saved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Portals was a little easier to use. There's assets in Folders or Albums that I want retailers to have but rarely all in a particular folder or album. That has prevented us from diving in and setting them up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves not only me, but my entire team, an enormous amount of time. I don't have to dig through emails to find assets that should be available at the click of a button.

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive features and easy filtering to find and organize all of our assets. The ability to segment our internal users has helped tremendously and made our process more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The detailed scroll-down information view of each individual asset could be more readable. All of the text and options displayed could be organized in a more digestible way visually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing assets with both internal team members and external users with the ability to create restrictions if needed. Less time is wasted on our previous methods, where we would take time to provide access and permissions, make individual documents shareable, and lose documents altogether.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Canto is the ability to share what I want with whom I want on a university campus!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike. If there was a way to have unlimited space without fear of moving to cold storage, I guess that would be it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have all of our digital assets in one place, accessible by our entire team PLUS consumers from our campus has benefitted us in the best way possible.

Content is readily available.

I love how easy it is to set up. So much easier to track assets, manage versions and share information.

I find the reporting a little cumbersome. I wish I could set up monthly reports that ran automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
version control, avoid network speed/size restrictions, and creates a self-help environment so I don't have to find things for people constantly.
Better than expected.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. The system moves quick and can be figured out with little background experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some areas arn't as intuitive, like editing setting for external links not being in the link section (how things show up for a user, that is). Also, I wish there was an easier way to "present" sections in an album. Curator view is a start but figuring out how to use took a moment and only works if the viewer is in curator mode.

Asset finding and gathering.

What do you like best about the product?
The portals features which is by far the most helpful feature at least to our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost maybe to high for smaller companies.

We built a whole online service platform using Canto. It saved us a ton of time on setup.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and I can search easily for specific things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of was particularly unpleasant.

Searching and finding things has become much easier.
Canto has been a great help with remote work.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Canto Upload feature and its simplicity in sharing files. Search tools and filters are really helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Folder/Album does not feel intuitive to me. I would be fine with just having folders and files. I also wish there were an easier way to move and drag files between these. Maybe a right-click option for easier fiel handling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adobe plugins, though it, is not as fast as working with files already in a local hard drive.
Canto is an invaluable tool that our marketing team uses on a daily basis.

Canto's interface is simple and easy to use, and it helps our team keep thousands of images for multiple clients organized and easy to locate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost may be a bit pricy for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is helping us address the need to keep our digital assets organized and secure. We do not have a large team, or any administrative staff, so the fact that it makes uploading and organizing image and video files quick and easy saves us time and money.
