Quick Canto review
What do you like best about the product?
Image searching in Canto is very fast, facial recognition saves me hours of time, sending shareable links to lightboxes is really helpful, and once set up, creating branding templates is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface for branding templates isn't very sleek, after a user completes their edits to a templated doc, they can't save/copy the template to work on again later once unless they have admin rights, when you export a PDF from branding templates you cannot modify it in Acrobat, there's no alert/contact when you're approaching the end of your contract, you definitely need to set aside a lot of time to get familiar with Canto from the beginning or dedicate a Canto administrator on your team, there was a LOT of back and forth to get branding templates set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
It is very useful to have all images and product photography stored in a single cloud-based location, which makes the retrieving of assets a fast and easy process. Downloading assets is a fast and trouble-free process

Can't think of anything specific at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that all assets are stored in a single location greatly reduces the amount of time spent in retrieving the assets. In other words, it saves a lot of time
Canto is a decent digital asset management system—but it can feel a little clunky at times.
What do you like best about the product?
I work for an organization that needs to store many large files (JPEGS, MP4, EPS, etc.), and Canto allows us to do so all in one place—which is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the most intuitive from a UX perspective. It can be quite hard to navigate for staff members who don't use the system daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File storage. Canto allows our organization to store massive files and share them externally in a way that doesn't compromise our security.
Making The Most Out of Image Relay
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many great things to like about Image Relay that it's challenging to select just one great feature. But for the sake of this review and the need to choose what I like best, it's the ease of use. The entire platform is clean, intuitive and user-friendly. Best of all, in those sporadic instances when I can't figure something out, both online and live support are second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of a single feature that I dislike. When I first joined the platform and began building our library, there were several features that I didn't understand. Still, they quickly became clear once I completed my live onboarding/training call with one of Image Relay's Librarians. The training was outstanding, and the trainer was patient and polite and never rushed through any questions I asked. Ultimately, I can't think of anything I dislike about Image Relay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a word, ORGANIZATION! We are a Product Licensing Company, and we deal with thousands of digital images and documents, and storing and finding them quickly and efficiently is paramount to our success. Before Image Relay, our files were a huge mess. It was nearly impossible to locate various photos and even harder to find specific documents. Now that we use Image Relay, all of that is a snap, well, a click! Fast, easy and painless!
Canto is a scam. All businesses should avoid!
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. Everything in Canto is difficult to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is a nightmare. Even our professional graphic designer never could use it for our team. We immediately asked to cancel Canto but Canto refused and even after one year, they still keep sending us invoices and never responded to our emails to cancel this scam
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing. Canto doesn't solve any problem. The company is a scam.
You will find more uses for Canto than you think.
What do you like best about the product?
Canto provides fast, easy, searchable digital assets that are easy to update as products change. We use it to provide content for customer websites and sales materials, without having to check if the content is up to date by doing very simple version updates. We also like that we can apply several different types of search options for customers, websites and internal users.
What do you dislike about the product?
We really haven't found any downsides to Canto. We've found we use it for more applications than we initially expected and that will probably continue to grow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most helpful part of Canto for us is that we can direct our own websites and those of our customers to a single source for content. It is easy to maintain and is faster than most of the connections we used previously.
Canto brings digital file sharing to life
What do you like best about the product?
We previously used Google Drive and Dropbox to share key digital files such as logos, common design assets, and photos within my organization. But searching for files via nested folders is a huge challenge, especially when there are thousands of assets to sift through. But with Canto, we can deliver these files seamlessly through well-structured online brand guides and portals. Now our staff can browse through these assets visually or search by keywords, streamlining the experience of finding what they're looking for. Canto has been a huge step forward in making my organization's shared assets more accessible to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's certainly a learning curve to setting up the portals, as some aspects -- such as customizing the thumbnail for a folder -- are not intuitive. But the support provided in getting your portals up and running is strong, so you don't have to figure it out on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now that I have my organization's critical digital assets in Canto, it's much easier to manage the complexity of sharing digital assets and keeping track of different versions of files. For instance, we'll be rolling out updated slide templates in the new year, but with Canto, everyone can be assured that the latest versions of our shared assets will be readily available.

What do you like best about the product?
I can access all of our assets wherever there's a wifi connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of work you have to do in the beginning but after that initial work, there's not much I dislike about Image Relay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all of our assets in an organized and efficient way has helped to streamline our design process.
A Useful DAM
What do you like best about the product?
It's difficult to find the right digital asset management (DAM) system for storing photos, but Canto makes it easy. It's not overly complicated, it has a good search functionality and you can mark photos DO NOT USE if they should no longer be used in marketing materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a downside, but the more work you put into Canto, the easier it is to use. For example, take the time to utilize the full tagging functionality to make it easier to search for photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a digital marketer, we always need photos to use on social media and in our marketing materials. Canto is the best photo repository I've used in the 10+ years I've been in business. Canto makes it easy to store and search for photos.
Saved me HOURS!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the smart tagging keyword search. I used to spend hours going through thousands of photos to find one I could use, and now it takes minutes! I wish I knew about this platform years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I will search a general term like "food" and nothing will come up, but then if I put a specific term like "hamburger", pictures will come up. That can get a little hard, but also I know I can adjust how specific returned search results are, so it's really fine. Also the photos are a bit blurry until I download them, which makes it hard to judge picture quality quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big thing is time - I am so thankful that I can come up with any photos I need within minutes instead of scrolling through thousands of photos like I used to.
