Solid Platform for photo organization with good customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Image Relay provides an excellent interface for storing photos with multiple convenient options for searching, filing, and sharing images. It is incredibly intuitive. My organization also appreciates the user permission customization options, and we have heavily used the collections feature for external sharing. It is functionally internally, and professional in appearance for external-facing use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for there to be an app. Otherwise, the only issue we have run into is consistently having people copy/paste the url for an image when trying to share rather an using the share button to generate a url.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing place for storing all photo and most video assets. Functions both internally for organization and externally for sharing assets.

What do you like best about the product?
Image Relay has revolutionized the way I handle digital resources. It's an huge relief to say bye to email attachments and fully embrace the ease of sharing assets through secure links. Whether it's capturing impactful event photos, showcasing our marketing materials, or sharing important documents, Image Relay’s Asset Library has me meticulously organized. Collaborating with the team is so easy and I can effortlessly grant access to specific files. This level of streamlined collaboration has undoubtedly given our projects a significant competitive advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there's anything to gently point out, it's that our internal team doesn’t use all the features that Image Relay has to offer. This isn't a fault of the system itself; but an opportunity for us and we plan to commit some time to work on this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effectively managing and sharing digital assets is no small feat. However, Image Relay’s platform tackles these challenges head-on with their seamless platform that allows us to store, organize, and distribute everything from impactful event photos to brand guidelines and even product related content. It has significantly amplified our collaborative endeavors, ensuring our team and stakeholders remain seamlessly connected.
Implementing Image Relay
What do you like best about the product?
It is very helpful to have all of our product images and product data in one easily sharable location.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complicated to use at times, and the software seems to be still in development for some features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to share product information with our distributors. We also need to rack product data comprehensively, which is not something we were able to do previously in an easy way.
Everything finally in one place!
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to Image Relay, our marketing assets were everywhere in various files. We love the seamless, intuitive interface and it's made a huge difference to have everything in one place. I also love the download button! Things download so quick, vs. other platforms that make you go through various windows, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
We really love the product overall! For future developments, it would be nice to include links in addition to actual files to connect some other documentation. As well as being able to customize collection pages more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything we have is finally in one place. We've been able to take a holistic look at our marketing and decide where to improve things once we see everything laid out. Sharing is also a ton easier amongst internal and external folks.

Super easy to use and colloborate with both internal and external partners.

There isn't anything I've come across so far to dislike this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to share a tremendous amount of digital assets with many partners in super convenient, efficient manner.
New with Canto
What do you like best about the product?
Having everything in one place, smart tags, making it much easier for me to search for photography because of key words and smart tagging.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the only issue I have is finding enough time to setup the DAM and get all of my assets put in. I have a very busy and hectic schedule that doesn't allow me much time to dedicate to this project yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share files within my team, using portals for freelance photographers. Easy for me to search through photography to find what I need fast.
Canto in the newsroom
What do you like best about the product?
In our nonprofit news organization, we use Canto to organize photos and graphics. We were satisfied with other parts of our editorial workflow, but we needed a new way to manage images. Canto came to our attention as a new, affordable solution to the problem. It is easy to manage multiple users and easy for many coworkers relatively set in their ways to learn to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that really bothers me is the graphic interface, which is a little clumsy. Honestly, I think they just need better GUI design people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easier search for and find the photos we need when we need them. Also makes it easier to acquire photos from external sources bc we can just send them up and upload link and voila, there it is.

What do you like best about the product?
This was the first DAM we adopted to help us continue to organize and distribute our growing media library. We love the customization!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have noticed large video files sometimes are too big to upload, and so we haven't used to house all our raw video assets

Organizing, accessing, and distributing our photos and final videos.
A great tool for file storage and sharing
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool for storing and sharing a large amount of files and photos. We like how organized and polished it looks when sharing files with external partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
The set up process was a bit difficult and can be tedious, especially if you have a large amount of data to move over to the new platform but their customer service can help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a polished and organized program to store a large amount of data--ideally, something that was branded and could be used easily both inside and outside the organization.
Gigantic but terrific and much needed organization tool

its people, its easyness and the sahring links.

the non-french part, the smart tags are not that accurate
