A simple DAM with potential.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is all about the content. Other hosted DAMs I tried were very rigid on how they displayed the content. I picked it because it was easiest to understand right out of the gate. The first thing you see are the pictures, videos, or whichever you set it up to be. If I had to train someone to consume the stored materials, it would be intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that seem half-baked or good ideas that weren't finished.

The bulk uploader only works on IE 10 with an antiquated uploader (some flavor of Java no longer supported on Chrome or Firefox).

There are also some UI elements that are goofy. When you're uploading assets, the progress bar covers up the button to see details of the asset your viewing. Things like that.

The preview for videos are very poor quality. The frame rate low and the compression is very high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of working with designers and non-designers, employees, interns, and contractors and bringing the company's assets into one place. Making the assets available and approved in one place with it all searchable helps us be more efficient when looking for assets in our large library of custom photography and video.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You really have to look at what your workflow is. DAMs on a high level are supposed to be customized to simplify and automate work. With Flight, you have to adjust your workflow to it and not have extremely high aspirations of customization to YOUR workflow.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of sharing both large and small batches of files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The folder and album system is somewhat limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our file organization, labeling, versioning and file sharing capabilities have greatly improved.
