What do you like best about the product?
The auto template response and Phish rip capabilities are very useful

The reporting could use some tweaks. it is hard to weed out the stuff you don't want reported

PhishER ... What every organization needs

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER has done a fantastc job categorizing emails for our organization.
An email considered to be " clean " is sent right back to the user after inspection.
The most important piece to PhishER for our organization is the PhishRIP feature.
Any email considered to be a threat is then ripped from all user mailboxes within the organiation.
This allows the end user to play a role in cyber security becoming a valueable asset as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I'm not sure that I have a downside.
I would like to see further improvement on emals categorzied as " unnkown"
As of now any email categorized as unknown we leave for admin review and notify a member of the IT team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Phish ER AI decision making as helped to free up a ton of time from our IT Team.
PhishER has taken the number of emails that our team has to manually interact witth and cut it down to a 1/8th of the volume.

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER has streamlined the process of reviewing and remediating suspicious emails. Its automation features significantly reduce the time our organization spends on manually reviewing hundreds of emails, allowing us to focus on more critical tasks. This efficiency not only enhances our productivity but also strengthens our overall cybersecurity posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration is not as intuitive I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER has significantly enhanced our cybersecurity efforts by implementing robust security controls that effectively reduce our attack surface. By automatically removing malicious emails, PhishER minimizes the risk of our users interacting with harmful content, such as clicking on malicious links. This proactive approach not only protects our users but also strengthens our overall security posture.

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER "Automation" of handling of reported phishing emails significantly reducing the maul workload. User Friendly interface for both end users and administrators.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup anc be challenging and time consuming. False postives are an occasinal issue where legitimate emails are flagged as threasts but aren't. Reporting is lack luster and could use some improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Response time, manual workload and user training.

Amazing Tool, Set It and Forget It

What do you like best about the product?
As a small org with a tiny IT department I appreciate having a tool that is largely hands off after set up. As with almost any IT initiave, we have some users that have really embraced using the alert button and others that just don't. The backend setup for the emaol button was very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without assistance in the set up, the learning curve for setting up the rules could be intimidating. Having said that, our customer service rep helped us set up the rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than our old system of having users forward potentially harmful emails to IT for evaluation, the PhishER system does this for us. That saves us time and allows us to allocate resources elsewhere.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to create rules and powerful fuctions to identity threat. Once you created all rules and actions, you can completely rely on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is learning curve to learn how to use PhishER properly. You also need to learn Yara rule editor to create proper Yara rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It automatically caterized 90% suspicious emails and took proper actions on them without human intervention. Our support just needs to work on 10% users reported emails.

Great timesaver for our SOC team

What do you like best about the product?
Easy for our users to submit emails that they are unsure about.
Rapid feedback to users about the determination of their submission.
Works on many clients. Good Integration with Outlook and Entra ID.
Saves our SOC team hours per week from investigating potential phishing emails.
Helps our security team to close out cases in a timely way.
PhishRip is great at removing confirmed phishing emails from other users who may have received it. Limiting the potential damage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was challenging to setup and required a KnowBe4 TAM. Our team felt like they didn't understand it enough to make adjustments or troubleshoot once setup and required a follow up engagement.
SOC team would like a more intuitive experience when manual determinations need to be made on a submission.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time for security team so they can focus on higher impact events. Provides end users on any device with a simple method for reporting suspicious emails.

PhishER - An early warning, detection, and mitigation system

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that it gives me insight into not only the threat, but a 'sandbox' of sorts that I can analyze the email(s) in their entirety. This coupled with the fact that PhishRIP will systematically remove the threat from other users mailboxes in our division.
What do you dislike about the product?
The adoption and usage rate. This is of no fault of KnowBe4, but our end user community.
The plus side is the KB4 training that we can assign to our end users to continually keep security top of mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stopping the spread of bad actors trying to steal credentials, scam end users, and try to gain unauthorized access to our assets. It also gives me an insight as to how these bad actors operate and things to look for so that we can continue to educate our end users.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility, ease of use and its scope. I have deployed PhishER in three different companies, each had its own requirements and this platform already provided a solution out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently we found that in an open environment where issues are reported and visible to all employees, phishing messages and senders are flagged and other employees can see the messages and can avoid making their own decisions about the messages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phisher teaches employees how to indetify a compromised email message, what to do, and who to report to. This lowers the probability of a human error causing a security incident.
