Saves me Time
What do you like best about the product?
Do not have to check the e-mail and notify users. for the most part it does it for me

I have not found much I dont like about it

Affordable way to analyze and respond to user submitted mail
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER is the natural companion to the PhishAlert button. We can't respond to every submission, and we don't want copies of potentially malicious emails sent to IT. PhishER gives us an outside mailbox that submissions go to so they can be analyzed and responded to automatically. You hope that the tool concludes that most if not all submissions are clean or even spam, but in the event the PhishER machine learning or VirusTotal scanning of links and attachments that indcate a threat, the tool can alert the submitter, your IT team, and take action to search for the same email across your mail server to pull them before anyone else has a chance to interact with it. We encourage our users to PhishAlert anything suspicious because they might not be the only person that received a malicious email, so reporting it first and getting all copies pulled fast can save the company. But let's face it, most submissions are benign, but at least users are getting immediate automated responses to their submissions that take manpower out of the equation. Submit all you want, I just need to be alerted to potential threats. PhishER has easily paid for itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The VirusTotal integration relies on the customer getting an API key. The free account API key has a limitation on polls per day that we often experience when there's been a lot of submissions. Paid VT accounts are cost prohibitive and there's no alternative.

Automating the process of analyzing and responding to user submissions.
Powerfull and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is a product so easy to implement. The initial customization could take some times until you understand your real flow and user behavior. I really trust on how it works
What do you dislike about the product?
Improve reporting feature to allow us to compare long periods.

Automation to daily load and focus on important cases only.
PhishER - Great, A Must Have
What do you like best about the product?
As a new admin to the PhishER platform is was very easy to pickup and use from day 1. The implementation and integration processes were easy and quick. It has become a staple of our organization to fight against phishing threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind in terms of dislikes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER is helping us asses threats and getting out users more aquainted with flagging emails as phishing. It is helping me filter through these and investigate questionable emails

THis has given tremendous insight into behaviors and provided a powerful tool to our organtization.

I can't say anything bad about this product.

It allows us to do a better job of identitying threats and keeping out environment safe.
KB4 PhisER Plus
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to proactively respond to email based threats and stop the issue quickly!
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that the blocklist time limit is 30 days. It would be nice to have a never expires option for blocked domains
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives our users power to stop threats in their tracks, in a secure way. It's also a secure method for reporting fraudulent emails that make it past our filters.
Fantastic tool that has freed up a good deal of time for me

The ability to set rules and have the system respond to phishing threats without my continuos direct input is great and has saved me a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be possible and I just don't know how to do it, but i have users who will report internal newsletter and they flag as spam, i'd like to filter that out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Evaluating phishing emails, frees me up to work on other tickets.

A more user friendly explantion of phish report. or statistics to show upper management.

Provides feedback for how secure our enviroment is and how our users handle suspicious emails.
Level Up Security Posture with KnowBe4
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 is crucial in training and testing our users for phishing and cyber security concerns. Our users are engaged with the platform and view it as something more social and game-like than a dry required training. KnowBe4 has fostered a culture of healthy paranoia and good-hearted shaming among users. PhishER provides the additional layer of being able to investigate and automate the messages users are reporting with the skills they have learned.
The automation for how reported messages are handled, including the ability to scan with VirusTotal and PhishRip messages allows a faster and more in-depth response than trying to keep up with checking messages manually.
We appreciate the ease of setup and integration with Microsoft platforms. Customer support, product feedback, beta testing, and account representative checking in have all been phenomenal.

What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that users can become slightly over-aggressive in reporting messages as phishing. From a security perspective, it is probably better to err on the side of caution, but from an IT perspective, it can create more work to restore legitimate messages that are needed.

PhishER provides options to automatically scanning and processing messages reported as phishing.
