Great Product, Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
The mobile SDK is a must to keep your apps free from typos and other common localization issues. This really streamlined our workflow here at Shapr. The excellent support team has always provided speedy, helpful responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way Android MAUs are counted may lead to unwanted surprises when trying to plan how many MAU's you need as you grow. Thankfully, the support team can help with that as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've streamlined our localization process, we've fixed typos and other issues in the blink of an eye, and we've integrated it into our continuous integration process smoothly. We've added support to new languages without requiring any kind of tech work after the initial setup phase.
Probably the best translation management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Tagging multiple keys in the same screenshot + automatic key tagging for screenshots
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be maybe cool to have URLs in the description of glossary terms clickable. this way translators can read for example a documentation page of a feature that they translate.

Managing translations can be difficult. Lokalise makes things much easier.

This service provides clean UI and UX for those who will be writing and modifying the localization files.
It also comes with many useful integrations for developers. The live support is very responsive and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is not very realistic, considering what each plan provides... It'd be great if all integrations were included in every plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One major problem that we're solving with this service is not having to update the Mobile app, each time we modify some localization values. Another thing is knowing exactly what keys are missing for specific languages, spelling/grammar errors, collaboration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
During our research, Lokalise has turned out to be the best fit.
We can't recommend it to the others, because no project is the same, they can only be alike.

Suitable Tool for Translation Process
What do you like best about the product?
Support quickly and really valid. I spent time talking with support team. They are kind, helpful and always support our issues regarding their product.
Lots of nice features:
- Photo screenshots with keys
- Command Line Interface is so nice.
- Integrating with lots of source control (git, bitbucket...)
- Very nice document
What do you dislike about the product?
As I want to remove several keys in screenshot. In stead of removing selected keys. I have to delete one by one. I think it's better if we have options to delete several keys, even delete all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise helps improve our translation process. We had been using Google Sheet to update and communicate with each other. Lokalise saved our time by providing an effective application with everything we need to translate.

It is much more intuitive than our previous tool. Our developers are working much faster and the collaboration is much easier. Also the support is pretty responsive.

We have not found. We researched many translations services. Lokalise the best!

We decided problems with translations for our product. We built very comfortable manage system for our translations process.
Comprehensive Solution for a Translation Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The app has really reviewed translation workflows and included integrations and tools for all the roles in the team. We can say from integrating this solution with our current web app, that we were astounded by the simplicity the tool connects to the repository, get's the most current keys the developers added and easily pushes changes back to the repository. From a developers perspective this is a dream to use.
The translation tools are also on par with the rest, with multiple views for editing, suggestions from major translation software (e.g. Google Translate) and placeholders support. The design is also nice and friendly and well thought out, allowing for easy understanding without needing to read documentation.

What do you dislike about the product?
At the time of the review we haven't encountered any issues or discomforts with the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing all our strings with this solution We are translating into 3 different languages (e.g. English, German and Romanian). The benefits we have realized lies first of in dissolving one bottleneck of passign all the translated strings through our development team. Now our managers and translators handle all the strings and formulations, and the devs focus on other tasks.

Talk to support as they are extremely helpful in solving your problems and read the docs and the blog. Very well made.
Great for big teams
What do you like best about the product?
You can have many projects with different collaborators. We have 60+ people working on different projects and it makes it really easy to coordinate everything. We also have integrated Lokalise with our different CI deployment processes and it generates all the strings for each product as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many things to dislike, but the UI could be more beautiful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're localising iOS, Android and webapps. Also emails, notifications and static web pages. The experience has been really pleasant.

It's great to automate localization workflows.

Engineers like it. As for me, I think the best part is history logs of changing the translation (which is better from the ux point of view compared to the spreadsheet that we used before). And very helpful support team!

UX of linking the keys is not very obvious, TM editor is better in some other CAT tools
